    after spending the first 3 years of my driving life driving clapped out old bangers, i decided to invest in a nice, sturdy car that would last me a good few years and prevent me from being the AA's most frequent customer. I had always wanted a VW lupo, right back in the days when i was learning to drive. Cue the first problem - cost. Being a VW, the lupo is a lot more expensive than similar cars in its class - be it the fiesta, matiz, clio, corsa etc etc. This can also be a postive thing - lupos hold their value extremely well, excellent news if you ever come to selling it, and great ... more

    Volkswagen Lupo 1.0 E , litre engine. 2002 model . PETROL The Lupo I have the blue colour the jazz blue, it has three doors that includes the boot door. Inside the car there is a drink holder at the driver side which is a bonus if you are driving ad want to have a drink . It has manual windows and does not lock automatically. The lupo does not have a glove box , but has long compartment which is open where you can place your stuff but be careful because the thieves can see it. It has two pockets in each side of the door. In the outside it looks like a fairly small car but inside is very large ... more

    The new Lupo SE combines an excellent price with some handy features as standard: twin air bags, power steering, alloys and free roadside recovery for a year. Being a Volkswagen, it feels dead solid. At ony one litre, it lacks power, but still drives consdierably better than other cars of it's class. It would be silly to discuss this wonderful little car in terms of performance, though: if you want the drive of your life, go for a bigger car. What made me chose the Lupo was it's reliability, excellent safetly record, low low fuel consumption and good looks. And it is real eye candy. Mine is a ... more

    Ive had my vw lupo for almost 9 months now, and its really been s pleasure to drive. Its a nifty little runaround thats perfect for grls like me:-) Its very economical, esp if your a person like me who needs to drive everyday back and forth. Although, i have to say that its a pretty slow car...i cant blame it, coz its only a 1.0 litre engine, it roars when you hit 90-100mph (maybe i shoudnt push the car to the limit eh:0) Its a cute cute car thats very grly, so u guys out there who thinks they can get away with drving one of these babys, best think again :0)) The boot of the car is tiny, so ... more

    FIRST IMPRESSION My parents bought me a brand new VW Lupo in October 2004 and the colour is in Jazz Blue, which is a nice colour for this sort of car I reckon. When I first saw the Lupo after buying it my first impression was "...it's soooo small...", which I really didn't expect as there are not a lot of Lupo owners in the UK compared to other cars.     Ok lets get the boring stuff out of the way first, this car comes with power steering, alloys, twin airbags and free roadside recovery for a year all as, wait for it...standard. But thats not what you really want to know about this car now is it? Look at the picture, it is a beauty. Why anyone would want to drive an ugly Ford Ka when you can buy this sexy little thing is beyond me. It is not the most powerful car on the road, but if a small car with lots of power is what your after then either get a sports car or go for the GTI option.     I only interacted with this car for one day, i have lived with Vw's and they have gone through my family since when i can first remember. I have always been very impressed by the cars that VW have produced particularly the Golf and the Polo. I currently drive a Golf which has moved down throughout the family through the years, and when my brothers went in for a service the other day we got given a Lupo. How disappointed i was, yes it is a very small car and if you want a small car fine, it is also very economical however i personally hated it, for VW it was a let down, i couldnt even drive it ... more

    i'v had my VW Lupo for just under a year now, it's my first car, and although i think its the best looking small car around at the moment, i have been disappointed at the amount of noise it seems to make. it sounds a bit like an extracter fan! the size is perfect for me though, it's small enough to park anywhere and looks cute and innocent enough to always be let out by other drivers. mine is a soft blue colour, which i was unsure about when i first bought it but i love it now. the inside looks good, when the lights are on the dials and things light up blue which looks cool. one of the big ... more

    I brought this nice little car just over a year ago, it was 2 years old and still had a years mot left before it was due to have its first 1. So far it hasnt cost me a penny apart from the petrol and tax and all that, i use it daily and is very easy to handle except when travelling at high speeds on the motorway with all the crosswinds it goes all over the place but apart from that a perfect little city car. the drivers seat and the steering wheel is both adjustable to suit most peoples sizes and has the nice blue neon dashboard lights around the clocks.The bootspace is next to nothing but big ... more

    Bought the Lupo new in 2002. Learnt how to drive in it. It is incredibly easy to handle, nifty in towns and can get up a fair old speed on the motorway. Feels very spacious in the front, with well illuminated dials and a very solid dashboard. Seats give good support and both driving seat and steering wheel adjust for smaller people ( Me). Good safety features, with twin airbags. No complaints about the boot size. It's not a family saloon and the back seats drop for carrying bulky items.
