Advantages: Works really well better than any other cream I've used
Disadvantages: not for the guys

...until my fiance bought me Vaseline Intensive Hand and Nail Cream. *** About the Product *** This is a product I doubt we'll find in many guy's bags. With it's pretty pink packaging 'Vaseline Hand and Nail Lotion' is definitely aimed at the female market. With milk proteins and AHA included, this cream works by making nails up to 50% stronger and leaving hands feeling soft and smooth to the touch. The milk proteins and AHA help to improve the nail's ...
...non-greasy. To get the best out of this cream it is advised to use it 2-3 times a day. *** My opinion on... *** When buying a hand cream I look for a variety of things, the main one being the results it leaves after using it, others being the price, the texture of it, for example how easy it is to rub into the skin, and the smell. So just to give you the best possible information on the product I can I will write about every aspect I look for in ...

A Handy Product

Advantages: Soft hands, strong nails, lovely fragrance
Disadvantages: May need a stronger product for very dry skin

...always have a tube of Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail lotion on my desk. It is a convenient way of keeping your hands and nails moisturised throughout the day, and I always find that the scent helps to perk me up just a little during a hard day at work. Please read on to find out more about this product.... GENERAL INFO ---------------------- The Vaseline Hand and Nail product that I use comes in a 75 ml tube which is convenient for stowing ...
...that causes redness and dryness) Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail Lotion does have an immediate cooling effect on the sore area, but I find that it does not last very long, and I do keep reapplying to that particular patch in an attempt to keep it hydrated. Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail lotion is not branded as a product that works on exceptionally dry skin, so I do not think that this is a criticism as such. For very dry skin, I would ...

Advantages: Soft hands and strong nails.
Disadvantages: people may want to touch your hands. You may not like this.

...the shop brands and the vaseline so I would bother with them just go straight for this one. Be warned though, they sometimes use similar packaging (a pink upside down tube) so make sure you pick up the right one! The more observant of you will have noticed that the title says that this is hand AND nail lotion! Indeed it is. I have found that it absorbs into my nails if I massage it in and over time my nails are a bit stronger. I was very surprised ...
...you go. So use… My personal preference is squeeze a little bit onto every nail on one hand and then wipe my other hand's nails against them so I have about half on each hand then I massage into each nail in turn then massage the rest into my palms and the backs of my hands. (I usually have to add a little more to do my hands properly). I tend to do this just before I step out of the house, bedtime, or at other times when I won't need to touch ...

Good if you can't open a jar with your elbows

Advantages: absorbent, non-greasy, nice smell, tube fits in handbag
Disadvantages: occasionally gunk around cap opening, would like economy size bottle available

...a flask. I chose Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail Lotion. A bit of a mouthful, but don’t, even though it smells good enough to. It tastes horrible. My baby pink tube is 75ml (£1.35 – Boots price) with a clip cap. Very satisfying to clip shut and open. You do occasionally get gunky bits drying around the tube opening but I can live with that. It’s a good size to store in your handbag for dry hand emergencies. If you have limited space in your ...
...day. (They’re more forgiving than they let on.) You don’t have a portable mole? How can you live like that? Not only does this lotion smell really fresh and clean (sort of baby fresh and clean with a hint of fruit) it also leaves my hands really soft and well moisturised and it absorbs really quickly without a trace of grease. I hate hand creams that leave you with sopping greasy hands meaning you have to wander around for half an hour while they ...

SOFT HANDS FOR SHARING!

Advantages: Soft, fresh smelling hands!
Disadvantages: None!

...could refuse? Not me! Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail Lotion comes with a flip top lid that just clicks open and shut again, it smells good to, a bit like Johnson’s Baby Lotion – very clean and fresh. A little squeeze of this recyclable tube gives me a nice cooling pink blob in my hand which I massage gently into my hands, not forgetting about my cuticles because they need a bit of tender loving care also, it dries very quickly ...
...Those nice people over at Vaseline say if I continue to use this at least 2-3 times a day, I will see a difference in the strength of my nails, helping to stop them splitting, chipping or even breaking – in fact they promise your nails will be stronger, anything up to 50% is the claim. Ok I'll admit it's no Clinique, but then again that smooths out the fine lines in my hands so I don't really think it can be compared. I have been using this ...

...to the old trusty faithful Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail lotion. (“,) So why Vaseline? (“,) Well it is the safe option isn’t it? Vaseline has been around for many years and everyone I know has some form of Vaseline in their home, but what attracted me to try this particular hand cream was the fact that the tube is pink…. Advantages: Effective - non-greasy - absorbent
Disadvantages: None

...that's when I came across Vaseline Intensive Hand and Nail Lotion. This hand cream retails at a reasonable £1.39 for 75ml or £2.69 for 200ml. It claims that it not only softens hands and cuticles, but also strengthens your nails. It contains milk proteins and AHA to give you nails that are 50% stronger. It's made by Elida Fabergé under the Vaseline Intensive Care Trademark and recommends for best results it should be used 2-3 times daily. Sounds ...

It reassures me that it will stay closed - no exploding contents all over the inner recesses of my shoulder bag then - and yes it has happened to me before. You try removing half a tube of gloopy mess from your hairbrush, keys and purse - but we won't revisit that particular episode.….. It smells ...

Advantages: Non greasy, Easily absorbed, great price
Disadvantages: I'm not too keen on the smell!

...I've always been a Vaseline fan and have already reviewed the Essential moisture Body Lotion, so choosing the Intensive Care Healthy hand and Nail was easy for me I know . I instantly recognized the dark blue logo which stands out from the pale pink tube. It states on the tube front that it 'softens hands and strengthens nails by 50%'. It also tells you that it contains keratin, milk proteins and vitamin E. The directions advise you to use 2-3 times ...

Strength and Softness - a Winning Duo

Advantages: Inexpensive, instant long lasting effect
Disadvantages: Addictive

...I was rather dismissive of Vaseline believing it to be rather basic and therefore unappealing. I had the idea that somethng so cheap could only offer a very minimal improvement to skin texture and moisture and I assumed that even that would be very fleeting. How wrong I was! If I was a betting person then I would have lost rather heavily in dismissing Vaseline's claims - put simply, this lotion is a wonder! As a keen gardener my hands have always ...

A comforting homely soothing sort smell, not flowery or musky more like a baby talc sort of smell. Clean and wholesome. Secondly, it ...

could live without it but wouldn't want to

Advantages: smells lovely, leaves hands soft, non-greasy
Disadvantages: repeatedly sniffing your hands is considered odd behaviour in public

Although I swear by Vaseline for my lips I don't haunt the pharmacy aisles enough to have a comprehensive knowledge of their other products. I only found out about this hand cream when I received a free sample in the latest Cosmo magazine. The first thing you notice about is that it smells heavenly - like strawberry blacmange in fact! I was trying to write an essay at the time but kept having to stop and sniff my hands. It's not an overpowering ...

Since buying my own bottle I've had to use it as hand, nail AND arm cream on several occasions when I've been a little overenthusiastic! Before receiving this sample I'd never bothered to buy hand cream, even though my hands often feel dry, particularly after ...

Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail Lotion

Advantages: Softens hands, smells nice, small handbag sized tube, cheap
Disadvantages: None really

...My mum uses a Vaseline moisturiser and I was slightly doubtful at first - Vaseline is a slightly mumsy brand, but I'd frittered away the rest of my money on L'oreal and Maybelline nail varnishes when I could have made do with Miss Sporty and Collection 2000, and this was the only hand cream I could find for under £1.50. ...top, with navy writing. It isn't particularly stylish, but I'll overlook it because of the quality! This claims to 'soften hands and cuticles and strengthen nails'. It contains milk proteins and AHA (I don't have a clue what it stands for), which sounds impressive! You only need a small blob for both hands. You squeeze the tube to get the hand cream out, so it's easy enough to control the amount you're squirting out.It has a light, sweet, soapy ...

Give your hands a drink

Advantages: Silky soft, cheap, good brand
Disadvantages: none

To be honest, this didn't come to mind straight away as something I should do an opinion on. I've been using this hand lotion for only a fortnight now, and today I found myself completely lost after forgetting to put it back in my handbag to take to work. This made me realise how I've come to appreciate my newly soft hands! I'll start with the packaging. This is the tube format - approximately a 'pens' length long (I have no ruler sorry!), and is ...

...I decided to try was Vaseline Intensive Care Hand and Nail Lotion. I decided to try this one as it is apparently good for your nails too and helps to strengthen them. ...useful and intelligent sounding… The lid id a flip-top one, which I can assure you is a god-send when it comes to trying to use a screw-on lid once you have just covered your hands in a generous blob of hand lotion. One of the first things you notice about it when you squeeze a bit out is the lovely scent. It is slightly floral but very fresh smelling and ensures that your hands smell the same for several hours.
