Advantages Advantages Brilliant for lips. Tons of everyday uses

Disadvantages Disadvantages Will not replace a coloured lipstick for those who like bold lips.

Vaseline is really a lot more usefull than it is sometimes given credit for! It is simply a pretty little tin of pure Petroleum Jelly, but the beauty of this and lack of other ingredients makes it a wonderfull mulititasker! Availible in a small tin for 99p in boots it is great value for money! They do other versions such as the Rose version which comes in a pink tin and tints your lips pink, the yellow which has added SPF and the green which contains aloe vera. Having tried all the different types the original vaseline is still my favourite! The small tin is a perfect size for in pockets ... more

Advantages Advantages Moisturises lips really well.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

Having lips that are dry is so annoying for me because I just hate the feeling and I tend to want to bite my lips for some reason. I then keep on licking my lips and they then become sore and then chapped. In the winter I like to use a protector for my lips more because of the colder weather drying the lips and this one is a lip product I buy quite often. It comes in a small circular tin which has a lid that pulls off. The size of the tin is quite small and can easily be placed into a bag for using outdoors or inside a pocket. Quite a handy sized tin in my opinion. It is a soft kind of gel ... more

Vaseline Lip Therapy Petroleum Jelly Pocket Size: Use Vaseline is one of those items that I cannot live without. I have a number of pots of Vaseline in my house and I always have a tin in my handbag and car. You could say I have to some extent become a little addictive to putting Vaseline on my lips, as throughout the day I am continuously putting it on. Vaseline is really good for dry skin and dry lips. It moisturises and smooth's out cracked lips and skin. After using Vaseline on my lips they feel hydrated and smooth. I especially find that Vaseline is essential in the cold winter months ... more

Vaseline is one of hose products that is an essential to my handbag. It is always in there in case of an emergency and the fact that it is in a metal case means it can get bashed about without getting ruined. What is Vaseline? Well I had no idea what Vaseline actually was as it is something I have grown up with and just naturally reach for when my lips are beginning to feel dry or sore but for the purpose of this review I thought I would do some research. What Vaseline says: “a mixture of mineral oils, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes that, when blended together, create something remarkable ... more

Original Lip Therapy Vaseline is a very successful brand which has become a household name. These little Vaseline lip therapy tins are just one of the products in their range of things. There are four different types of lip therapy tins, and aloe vera one, a rose one, a cocoa butter one and the one which I am reviewing today which is the original one. Price and availability I bought my lip therapy tin from Boots where it is currently priced at £1.45. This will earn you 4 points if you have a Boots advantage card. In Superdrug this lip therapy tin is priced at £1.25. Many other places stock ... more

Advantages Advantages Provides full moisture and hydration to lips.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be greasy on skin.

If I use cheap lip glosses, my lips can become sore and dry. So, I often like to use a good finger of Vaseline petroleum jelly to help them heal. Vaseline is a well known brand, owner by Unilever, sold in most cosmetics stores, or supermarkets. The range features moisturisers, body oils, lotions and, of course, this lip therapy product. You can find most of these items in Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Asda ect. This lip therapy product is made to hydrate your lips (or even skin) and to protect them from harsh conditions. This particular product is packaged in a small tin. It is labelled as ‘pocket ... more

As soon as the weather starts to change, and especially during the winter months, I suffer quite badly from dry, chapped lips and this spreads to the area just around my mouth too which can leave me looking a little clown like, and believe me, it is not a good look! Therefore, it is imperative that I have a decent supply of Vaseline and lip balm to keep me going through these times. At the same time, I won’t spend a fortune on these products as in my experience, they all seem pretty similar and quite often, you pay extra for the brand name only. I really like the little 20g tins of Vaseline ... more

The product This is a lip treatment that is designed to create a barrier between your lips and the elements of life such as wind. The packaging This comes provided in a small circular metal tin. There is a screw off lid that is easy to use and the lip therapy is contained within and is shaped in to the tin. Where can I buy this & for how much? This can be purchased from Boots stores, amongst other places, and the Boots website with a 20g tin costing £1.45. Overall opinion When the weather turns I often find myself suffering with ailments and sensitive skin. This is usually the time that I ... more

My lips seem to suffer adversely whatever the weather - dry and cracked in the sunshine and heat and chapped and sore in the cold winter months from a combination of wind and drying central heating systems. That is why I have tried to incorporate moisturising my lips into my daily skincare regime and have had a fair few products slathered on them in my quest to find the best. I tried various lip balms and chapsticks, but often found that I was deceived by how nice they smelt and that they didn't taste too pleasant or really do much to help my lips condition. I had heard of Vaseline before but ... more

Advantages Advantages Helps with dry lips and cold sores.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Dries out very quick and have to keep applying.

This pocket sized Vaseline is very handy for when your going out to put in you bag pockets or purse. I usually put mine in my coat pocket because I am constantly using it. Me personally I find that Vaseline is much better for dry lips/cold sores than any other product. It leaves my lips glossy and over time they have gotten smoother from using it. Vaseline is a semi think jelly type oil that is yellow in colour and is good for dry skin. My main use of Vaseline is for when I have cold sores. They are really good because when I rub the Vaseline on it my lip goes back to normal in 2 days maximum ... more
