You get alloy wheels, single CD player and air conditioning as standard on this model. The Vauxhall dealers also seem very willing to give you the best deal possible so be merciless in your negotiations! At the minute there is free insurance for the first year and some good finance deals Costs: About as cheap as they get.     Advantages Advantages Roomy, handles well, cheap to run (diesel), VERY cheap road tax (35 a year).

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not so cheap insurance, bit too much plastic in the interior.

    I bought a Vauxhall Corsa SRi 1.4, Diesel, on an 06 plate. This was my first car, and a year on I am proud to say it is still going strong, and has earned a place in my heart! I did buy this car second hand, but at the time of purchase it was only 6 months old and had done about 4000 miles: I got the car for just under 7000, and thought it was a good bargain! The colour of my car is 'Steel Grey'. However, I wouldn't call it grey at all, it's a mix of blue, silver and purple. It's very original and stands out, while still looking good.     Advantages Advantages Nimble handling, good value, fresh looks.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Engine feels underpowered.

    Handling: I enjoy every bend in the road, the Corsa handles very well due to its small size and feels like a go-kart when you push it as there is very little body roll. The ride is very comfortable with only the biggest potholes unsettling the suspension. The brakes however can feel spongy and I feel the car would benefit from discs on the back as well as front. Comfort and Practicality: The interior looks fresh and modern, especially with optional silver inserts and the plastics used although aren’t VW standard are chunky and durable.     I have just bought a Corsa Active 1.2 this is my 2nd car and I love it. I really enjoy driving this car as it is very easy to control, the steering is very light and smooth, picks up speed very quickly considering it is only a 1.2. All the music/radio can be controlled from the steering wheel which helps you to keep your full attention on the road. You can adjust the light on your speed gauge at night so it is not to bright while you are driving, this is especially good for driving on motorways or for long periods of time as bright lights can quite often give me headaches so I find this a ... more

    The Car looks great, I have a black 3 door, which strangely is roomier than my friends 4 door rover. The interior is a bit boring, lots of plastic, and the radio/cd player isn't as good looking as some of the others that are out there, but as standard is pretty fine. The back seats can fold down for extra room and there are the audio controls on the steering wheel. There is a dimmer for the lights on the dash board and you can even change the angle at which your headlights shine their light.     This is my third Corsa now and I cant fault them at all. This is a fantastic car, with many features. The best for me is the remote central locking. Press to open once and it unlocks only the drivers door and press twice to open and all doors unlock. Very useful if like me you get into your car late at night. The front seat has a lot of room to adjust and still leaves ample leg room for rear set passengers. The interior is warm and comfortable and there is room in the boot for a reasonable amount of shopping. I can also fit my dog guard and fit my two small dogs in the boot (with parcel shelf ... more

    Advantages Advantages nice looking car, great sound system, decent mover

    Disadvantages Disadvantages fuel consumption, easily swayed if to heavy on pedals

    very good car all in all better looking ones out there in my opinion. sound system very good although haven't heard much to compare with. easy on handling great acceleration and decent top speed for a 1200 cc. lights are great nice and bright so no problems with visibility. fuel consumption is good unless you are a bit heavy on the brake or accelerator then it goes down hill. engine basics bit confusing i.e fuse box etc. handling is good and copes with its speed well even when on top end of things windows quick to react so do not have to wait forever for them to go down or up for to long ... more

    I have a red Corsa Active. It looks fab with 15 inch Alloy Wheels. Is a comfy car to drive and I have never had any mechanical problems with it.

    When looking for a new car I tried several different makes to compare. The corsa was by far the easiest and smoothest to drive. It is pretty nippy for a 1.2, something I was worried about as previous car was a 1.6. It has everything I was looking for already added so there was no need to mess around with optional extras. It is comfortable, especially on long journeys and happily gives me over 45 mpg. The air conditioning works almost instantly even on the hottest days. It is an understated smart looking car. It corners well and the engine is quiet even on motorways. I cannot praise the car ... more
