Corsa SRiiiiiiiiii

Advantages: Great looking little Car and quite cheap to run
Disadvantages: Fuel costs can be expensive if you tend to drive fast

...If you do your own car servicing etc, I would think it would be quite tricky as the engine bay is very confined and working there would be hard work. I would suggest getting work done at a Vauxhall approved garage, so you know the work is done properly. ...

Fast and furious...

Advantages: Looks good, drives good
Disadvantages: Expensive to maintain

Although the corsa is only a 1.4, it is quite a nippy car! With the lowered suspension and fat alloys my little beast looks fab, and drives just as well! Which is why I bought it. I can cruise down the motorways at 110mph and it handles corners so easiliy... With the bucket seats it not only looks good, but is comfy too. Sub-woofers in the side pannels and 6x9s in the parcel shelf and the stainless steel exhaust, you can hear me coming....! Although ...
...and i now have muscles to contend with Hulk Hogan! It also drinks petrol, like theres's a shortage or something!! It is the kind of car that looks good and drives even better, with the potential to modify. It's also cheap on the insurance, so come on all you boy racers, come and buy one! ...

...the motorway experience. The efforts Vauxhall have made to keep the Corsa's looks fresh have worked in the main though fussy detailing around the wheel arches dates the profile somewhat. Overall the Corsa makes a practical package and the sport pack adds to the fun, recent changes to the range make this model a good value proposition. ...

Excellent runaround

Advantages: good value, size and engine for it's class
Disadvantages: poor demisting

We bought this 4 door model with power steering and the 1.4l engine because we had previously had a two door, 1.2l with no power steering. The difference was fantastic and really makes this a good littel family runaround (for a family of four). It's not so good on a long journey (unless you're in the car on your own) or if you have five people. I'ts also got a good boot space and especially with the back seats folded down. The only major drawback ...

Fast & Fun

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

Having previously driven a Peuguot 106 1.5D I was looking for a car with a bit more speed and something that looked good to drive around it that was not too expensive. I found it in the Corsa Sport 16v 1.4. The car came from it's previous owner with all the bodykit added but even without, this car is good to look at inside and out. Although it doesn't look like it, this car is very nippy and has no problems in going to speeds of 115mph and seems ...

what a great allrounder this car is.this car is one for the boyracers with it being a really good car to tune and modify. you can get a really good throaty sound by adding an induction kit which is an uprated air cleaner for those who dont know.its responsive to drive and really good through the bends with very little body roll.iv seen plenty ov women drivers including my mother and a friends girlfriend owning or driving these cars as they are good ...

vauxhall corsa 1.4 design petrol 3dr auto

Advantages: fun, good looking, nifty, reliable
Disadvantages: not much room in the back with 3people

...i bought it from a vauxhall dealer as a former courtasy car i would recommend this as you get a fantastic deal on a car in excellent condition. Mine is the 1.4 3dr auto version and is very very fast especially with use of the sports mode button - it really does put the fun back into drivin. The handling is excellent and i am totally satisfied with my car. Im currently 19, being driving 2years and my insurance is under £1000 fully comp i think corsas ...

Fancy an SRi? i did!

Advantages: Very small and nippy car
Disadvantages: Can seem cramped from inside

I came across my vauxhall corsa sri in a local news advertised somerclose, I decided to go and look at the the car that same day. As soon as i saw the car sitting on their drive i knew it was the car for me and after looking round it i took it for a test drive. This was my very first car and it was quite exciting after jst passing my test, I knew insurance for it would be alot but i didnt mind because i would have an SRi. The test drive was perfect ...
...at first because it wasnt like the car i learnt to drive in. I decided to buy the car for a very reasonable price got insuranse as soon as posible then took it for a spin the next day, it was brilliant even though i would recommend powersteering because it does get quite difficult to steer at slow speeds and during manouvers. the gearbox is smooth and makes gearchangig a pleasure but the clutch can seem a little heavy at times. this car has plenty ...

Corsa SRI

Advantages: Quite Engine, Smooth Ride
Disadvantages: Not fast off the mark

I bought this car pre-registered, one of the last made before they bought out the lower spec'd sxi+ replacement. The amount of kit you get is unbelievable for the price. The price was 9050 pre-reg factory ordered. This included metallic paint in ultra blue, sports pack 2 (17" alloys and tinted windows), climate pack (climate control, auto-dimming rear view mirror, auto window wipers, solar reflect winowscreen. When the cost is split down the option ...
...the mirrors are worth £200 each, comes with standard spoiler, remote central locking, 16" alloys standard. For the price of the car it is deffinetely a nice car. The only option i decided against was the leather interior as i use it for university commute so not constantly in use and plus it was the packs i got or the leather so decided for the more packs which imo was the best choice. A drawback is that they have drum brakes on the back which is ...

Had this as a hire car for 2 weeks

Advantages: Nice and sporty for a small car, relatively spacious
Disadvantages: rear passenger space limited

I had this car for a short time due to a car accident. I must say it is one of the most "fun" cars I have driven. I found the front cockpit very spacious and very modern, with all the necessary mod cons, for example cd, air con, remote central locking. I had the automatic version and I must say you will be surprised just how quick it goes. The ride is very confortable and smooth, and the automatic gives almost effortless motorway driving. I found ...
...plain enjoyable! The only downside I found was the lack of rear adult passenger space but it would be great for a small family. The boot space was adequate and I thought the design was quite sleek. I would definately recommend it for first time new car owners, its a small price to pay for such a well built, quality car. I have seriously considered getting one myself since hiring it. ...

Unbeatbale 1.4 Hatch

Advantages: Everything about this car is an advantage!
Disadvantages: Can drink fuel and tyres ware quick due to soft compound!

This is probably the best second car anyone could ask for. Nippy 1.4 is cheap on insurance and really pulls in first, then if you catch the revs just right it pulls hard from 4 thou to 6 thou RPM in 2nd 3rd and 4th! Engine roars with a slight whistle in the gear change! handles like a dream, on a par with more powerful cars like a civic type r which i have also driven! Well worth the 6-8K you can pick one up for at the minute! The interior is great ...
...enough, and a comfy steering wheel. The dials are similar to that on a porche so that is a lovely touch! Exterior looks are top notch too, 16inch alloys with super low profile tyres which help handling - standard eagle F1s are top top top too! I would say it can drink the fuel for a 1.4 if you drive it with intent but is a great car for motorway cruising! A 2 hours 100mph sprint up the M6 is comfy and relaxing and not draining. The ride is firm but ...

Great Fun To drive

Advantages: Very Nippy and very good handling
Disadvantages: None!

I had this car on a car role for 6 months, i covered about 10k hard driven miles in that time so i got to know the car quite alot. The steering is very light and feels safe on the road, the gears are very easy to change and are very precise. The clutch has a good biting point level and accelleration is good, Sometimes traction was lost but i feel i am a bit heavy footed. The seating position is good for middle height drivers i am 5'8 and it was ...
...fit in without problem. CD/Radio very clean sound and also the speakers could take the full volume without distorting. I kerbed the front two wheels and had to replace them and the dealership was very helpfull and the replacements were suprisingly cheap. all in all the car was very pleasant with no problems as you would expect from a new car, i would definitly buy one. Great first or second car! ...

sorry girl-power girls-this is a girly review!

Advantages: Nippy, sporty, cd player!!
Disadvantages: Radio, mirrors

When I got this car I wanted a CD player (!), a sporty looking car and something that was more powerful than my 1.2 Corsa. I like this car because inside it is silver and black (the belts are silver too) and the dials are white which give it a sporty feel. The CD player is fantastic (can you tell I wanted a CD player?!), I don't know the actual figures, but it goes very fast very quickly, it is easy to park, gear change is smooth, the radio and ...
...mean you can concentrate on the road. The boot has plenty of space, it costs about £40 to fill up with petrol and I love it! Bad points: wing mirrors are fine but could give better visability, the radio turns itself on when you start the engine even if you haven't left it on when you stopped the car (perhaps there is a way to stop this?). Hope this helps! ...

A Nice value car with a bit of power and style

Advantages: nice to drive, sleek, style, smart, energy
Disadvantages: not sure

I just brought one of these a few months ago and it is a dream to drive, if you are not loaded with money, then this is the car you want, it looks good and drives lovely and is a vailable with all the mod cons, eg. air conditioning which is a must! its nice to drive, dont use much petrol but becuase its a 1.4 16v it has a good bit of power in it to. i totally recomend it! its the best corsa you can buy. i use it every day for my comute through ...
...i am in a comfy car, i allways had bangers before this one, so is nice to be able to be confy while i drive. its quiet and the heating usually warms up in under 5 minutes on the coldest of days, and the air con is great for the summer, can make the are freezin cold in a short time on the hottest of days. the car does over 100mph without a problem. and is allways a smooth drive. there is a lot of leg room in both the back and front and the boot ...
