    Advantages Advantages Smooth, roomy, powerful, good for towing.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lots of faults, unhelpful dealerships

    I bought this Frontera 1998 S reg in April 1999 with 5000mls on the clock as an ex-demo from a main dealer. I was fully aware of the poor reputation the earlier model but was optimistic that build quality may have improved. Oddly, the criteria for buying this vehicle was probably unusual. We needed a large rear seat for three adult children, a engine capable of towing a 23' twin axle caravan, and a vehicle capable of towing such a caravan off slippery grass in all weathers.     Since January 2000 I am a lucky owner of a Vauxhall Frontera Estate Limited 3.2i v6. This car is very relyable and has a good grip on the (highway) road. My normal cruise speed of 140 KM/hr is no problem for this smoothdriving car. In the mud this car is in it's element and gives perfect performance. This car is representative and reasanable priced. I can recommend this car for multi usage (Highway and offroad) but also as business car (something else than al the others..). Advise order a sunroof from factory!
