The Great Oil Eater

Advantages: Adaptable, great for family with 3 kids
Disadvantages: Eats oil. Vauxhall very unhelpful when problem with the car.
...- we bought up with Vauxhall but they would neither confirm or deny this. However they did say that in the new Vectra hand book they warn that the diesel engine can use a lot of oil - this was no comfort. I have found more information on the internet to support this finding (through doing a search on lycos and ask jeeves).
Eventually Vauxhall stripped the engine. Because they were unable to tell 100% how the engine failed they replaced the engine ...

Advantages: bullet proof
Disadvantages: boring dash
i have owned my vauxhall zafira , for five years and it has been incredible .It has now covered 240 000 miles as a taxi and has only let me down once , when the oil cooler went at 110 000 , 400 pounds to repair .I have just had a new starter motor 160 pounds fitted,and apart from routine servicing, thats it .Its still on the same clutch,wheel bearings and all suspension parts One small problem to look out for are the rear door check straps, the star ...
