...anything. Again I should thank vauxhall for providing traction control as standard as the impact pushed the car parially off the road with the two nearside wheels on the grass verge while the two offside wheels were on the road - and I still stopped in control.

...car choice was restricted to Vauxhall due to having GM points to redeem, but I would have bought the Zafira anyway, as it is unique and fits my requirements perfectly.
Performance is comparable with a conventional car. I made a point of road testing the 1.8 engine with 7 passengers and driving uphill.
Fuel economy overall is 32. There is less variation than my Carlton which was thirstier in town but more frugal on motorways.
