Viscous Veet ain't Vicious!

Advantages: Very economical
Disadvantages: A bit sticky

...of these and spied the Veet Roll On Ready to Use Wax. I had seen the advert on the TV and it looked really simple to do. The price also swayed my decision as at £7.99 for 100ml it seemed a lot cheaper than £6.50 every month to have my legs waxed at the college. I know a great deal of you will be gasping in envy at that particular price, but it’s cheap because they are students and you are their toy to practise with and test on! What does the product ...
...assortment of hairs. Veet works a little differently than most hot waxes which need to be warmed first. I’ve used these products in the past, and have had several mishaps with too hot wax burning my shins. The microwave is a brilliant invention, but not good for heating wax. Believe me, this hurts! The sticky mess you usually get with waxes that need a special spatula to administer the gunk is also a major disadvantage. I once decided to wax my legs ...

Smooth (Blotchy) Legs Can Be Yours Too

Advantages: convenient, easy to use, good price for the amount of wax
Disadvantages: takes too long

...Next time we went shopping, Veet Express went into the trolley (along with all the pink wafers) and I was ready for ‘salon smooth legs all summer long’. **What is it?** “Discover the new Veet Express Roll-On, a ready to use, no need to heat, wax treatment. Specially designed to work at room temperature, the wax is stored in a versatile, easy-to-use roll-on applicator with flexible roll-head.” – Veet website “Discover the new Veet Express Roll-on. ...

Wot A Bargain !!!

Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, hair free legs for upto four weeks (or longer)
Disadvantages: Small amount of pain, bit messy

...was tempted to buy the Veet Express Roll-on waxing system for the simple reason that it was in the local Pound shop for the princely sum of, yes you've guessed it, £1. What a bargain, even if it didn't work it wasn't costing the earth, so I bought a pack to try it out. Once I returned home I opened up the box to see what I got for my quid, and in the pack there was the roll-on applicator filled with 100ml of a sugar based wax, 12 strips for removing ...
...to be hygienically sealed; perhaps the strips (and instructions) were too well sealed as I found myself having to use my teeth to open them. Once I'd torn my way to the instructions, I followed them and unsealed the top of the applicator which was a simple case of lifting a foil tab which then revealed a gloop that looked a bit like treacle. It was then time to click the roller into place, which is an easy enough task as long as you place the base ...

Sticky bits.

Advantages: Leaves skin smooth, quite painfree.
Disadvantages: Very sticky, slow process.

...the fact that with the veet you dont have to heat it up and althought time consuming you can just do it while watching tv. Be warned the skin does go very red and mine lasted a couple of hours so dont do it right before you don the glam frock. Be warned that its not for facial hair, diabetics, people on acne medication and ill advised to be used while pregnant. it also advises not to do underarms of bikini area without previous waxing experience ...

Quick review of Veet Express Roll-On Ready to Use Wax

Fed up of constantly shaving i saw this new veet roll-on wax in boots and thought why not? Usually about £8 but it was about £6.50 in a 1/3 off sale and as soon as I got home I heated it in the microwave and tried it. I followed every word of the instructions but trying first on my legs I applied the wax, pulled back one of the wax strips and no hair was removed! It's rubbish! I tried it again to see if it would get better but it was just the same. I'm really dissapointed as i wasted over a fiver on it and it didn't do anything. I've been dissapointed with veet wax strips before, but thought this was different. DON'T BUY IT! ...

Review of Veet Express Roll-On Ready to Use Wax

Ideal for bikini line quick-fixes

Advantages: Saves the expense and hassle of a trip to the beauty salon, and no appointment required! Better than wax strips.
Disadvantages: Can be a little messy, some bravery required, not ideal for the waxing novice

WHAT I USED IT FOR I used this product purely for bikini line (and other little bits like big toes, that we all deny doing!) purposes. WHY I BOUGHT IT Generally if I had to get rid of anything that wasn't leg or underarm hair, it meant a trip to the beauty salon to get someone else to wax it for me. As this experience seems to cost more everytime I book an appointment, I decided action was required! I got suckered into trying this out after watching ...
...you could use it without even paying attention to what you were doing. HOW I GOT ON After dutifully reading all the instructions I bravely applied some wax and got on with the business of causing myself pain. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I expected. Maybe the trick is to assume the worst to begin with! All you need to do use the deoderant type roll-on bottle to apply the wax, and use the strips (cut to size if necessary), to rip it all off ...
