...so finall I decided on Veet cold strips. The first time I used it, was in the car on the way to some relatives house - it worked fine! But the disadvantage was that it didn't remove all the hair properly even though I used it correctly, having had experience with hot waxing. It was, after all, my upper lip hair and hard to remove, maybe that's why it didn't work so well. But that was fine, most of it was gone and I was pleased and the after-treatment ...

I've only used Veet's waxing strips once from a product sample they ever so kindly sent me. I can't describe my relief at not spending my money on such an ineffective and useless waste of packaging. I tried it on my legs after a few days growth, it removed maybe 3 hairs, was painful and smelled really odd. The cleansing wipes included left me reeking of a hospital ward. Later, the area that I tried it on was covered in red bumps that didn't go away ...
