    In case you don't have time to read my long-winded account below here is my summary: Based on my experience, I would describe Victoria Plumb as follows: Great website, appear to have good range of items, prices look okay, website very efficient at taking order and taking payment straight out of credit card (rather than on dispatch as some other companies do) but absolutely dreadful after sales service. Not worth the hassle in my opinion!     Items I bought were branded differently to items I had nominally purchased on the website. When I checked I found I could have got them 25% cheaper elsewhere if only they had been accurate in the description of what they were selling me. When I raised this issue I was told that they are not allowed to use others brand names and have to change the names of all products - so how come everyone else can sell branded items then? I contacted customer services several times to explain and see if they would honor their price match guarantee, but no they won't due to a loop hole regarding matching the ... more

    Do not buy from this company, their customer service is terrible and the quality is poor. Our toilet seat hinge broke a few weeks outside the one year warranty. it was made out of cheap plastic and not made to last. They refused to replace it, told us to buy and new one and if we didn't like it then complain to trading standards! Not a very professional company. Quality of bathroom overall is poor and it is not worth what we paid for it. They have a very nice website that telling you what great quality their products are and how they will last for years to come, but they do not want to know ... more

    When I read the reviews here I was nearly put off ordering from Victoria Plumb, but the monotonous sameness of the negative experiences here seemed less plausible than the broader variety of experiences reported elsewhere (e.g. TrustPilot). I placed two large orders and had no problem with either delivery and am very happy with the quality of the bathroom suites. I had to cancel one part of my order and clarify some points over the phone and the people I spoke to were helpful and knowledgeable.     This company is absolutely hopeless. I am so mad that I am thinking about contacting Trading Standards and a TV programme who looks into this sort of thing. I, like a few others on here made the mistake of thinking they had an attractive website, had a nice range of bathroom products and were a customer service focussed company - ha! I ordered a sink and toilet from them in about August '07.     This outfit "Victoria Plumb" are shockingly poor. I waited patiently for 2 months whilst Victoria Plumb obtained stock of the item they advertised on their web site and told me by phone was "...imminently due in stock...". Early Oct they took payment saying stock was in. Now, 19th Nov I still haven't received items, refund or any response from their "Customer Service" dept.     DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY I agree with all of the negative comments listed here and if I could, I would never again deal with Victoria Plumb. 2 years ago we ordered some products which eventually arrived after much chasing, normal excuses made by customer service staff as to products not being in stock despite the website saying that they were. One of the items failed after 2 years, requiring a replacement component which according to "Customer Service" they could easily provide and were happy to take my order and money, and if we paid for express delivery we could get it quickly.     I have never come across an internet company which is so totally unreliable and unscrupulous. Their delivery times bear no resemblance to those advertised on their web site. For 5-7 days read 5-7 weeks, if at all. Their customer service is appalling. They never call back when they promise to do so, and they refuse to give out their names. We bought a walk-in shower which had multiple bits to it (doors, tray, plug, shower head etc) and they sent them out in separate consignments, each without any kind of delivery note that actually said what was being delivered, so we had no way of checking if ... more

    When I saw on the reviews list I thought I would have a read. I was surprised at the amount of negative feedback from their customers. We bought our bathroom suite, bath, sink, toilet for an amazingly cheap price about 3 years ago from them. As our bathroom is very small we had to check and double check all the sizes of the bath and each time we rang up the sales people were really friendly. We found one that was perfect. My husband ordered it and 5 days later it was sat in our living room (sat there for 3 weeks while we found someone to fit it for less than 3k but that's another story). After ... more
