There's one every few blocks! Or so it seems.

Very similar to all the other main offies.

Wine is becoming increasingly more popular in the United Kingdom and you will be able to get a punter’s view on the effect that this is having on our high streets by checking out the local off licences. Firstly, the off licences seem to be consolidating their holdings and expanding at the same...

I would most certainly have thought that this would depend on whether the voucher was still void. Due to the long period of time that you have owned it, the voucher may not be accepted

Not for me

published 10/01/2009

staff refuesd to serve me in a store in edinburgh because i had a northern irish driving license and they hadnt seen one before. I am 19 and nearly 20 so there is no excuse for not serving me de to by age. They would later not serve my scottish boyfriend because he had northern irish money which meant he was buying it for me so he was also refused. This is basically discrimination against northern irish people even though the there is actually on visual difference in the driving licences. not impressed wont be going back

"Off-License" is the American spelling - in British English, the correct spelling is "Off-Licence". In British English, the VERB is "to license", and the NOUN is "licence", so if a shop is licensed to sell alcohol, it has a licence to do so. Let's get things right !
