Good dense sponge - with scourer

Needs an extra squeeze!

I found that the only way to get a laminate floor really clean without using 'too much water' was to get down on my hands and knees and do it the old fashioned way. That was until I found the Vileda Magic mop - flat in my local Wilkinson's store. It has the old trademark red and blue of Vileda...

Effective, does the job brilliantly

Expensive replacement heads

I am a self confessed clean freak. I love poring over the cleaning pages of catalogues like Betterware (even though I rarely order anything) and if you show me a cool (but sensible and logical) gimmick for cleaning then I'm yours. That's pretty much how I felt when I first saw these mops. The...

Not for me

I could not find any

Sponge detatched itself from head on first use

I purchased a Vileda Magic Mop as I thought it would be an efficient, quick solution to dirty floors throughout the house and Vileda is a name you can trust. Unfortunately, this mop does not come up to their usual standards. It took about ten minutes to figure out how to squeeze it out and then...

Anyway I saw this mop in Wilkinsons... or was it Savers? and brought...

Husband has to use it

Need Either husband or Arnold Schwarzenegger

I have laminate floors and was always left with wetness that later showed so I purchased the super flat mop with scourer (looks good so far) and unique trigger action which would wring the mop wonderfully. Taking the mop home I read instructions apparently all I need to do is push up and down...

There's a part on the handle, that when you push it, it folds the sponge part in half therefore squeezing the excess water out. To get the sponge flat again and ready to use on the floor you simply pull the part on the handle back towards you. I think it's a little tricky to explain, but if you get one you will see how it goes, and you'll get the hang of it straight away.
