...June. June 9th, we rang Virgin to confirm we were moving on the 15th. Virgin said they had no notification that we were moving, despite the fact we had rung them 2 weeks previously to tell them !! So, they finally found our file, and it actually confirmed that we were moving house. Great stuff !! Can we have a Virgin Plus Box (henceforth known as V+) ?? Disadvantages: Call Centres loose your details, Takes months to get the kit installed

Disadvantages: where would I start? Appalling service, poor quality

...a packet loss with my Virgin broadband constantly of anything up to 44%, i.e. totally unusable, and has been like this since April. Using a Tracert, it had consistently timed out after the first hop, and ping times that are constantly timing out too. ...about 3 years. I received the virgin media promotional pack- with the 4 for £40 per month- landline, broadband (2mb), tv and mobile (300mins anytime, landlines and any mobile network). Compared with the £57 I was paying for lame tv, a high BT bill- due to mobile calls, and ok broadband- I thought this deal would be better than sliced bread! ...coming changes to the services Virgin were going to introduce and it was very informative and looked brill. Since i started with Virgin Media I had nothing but problems, thankfully everything is all sorted now and touch wood i won't have to speak to them again, however the first problem i had was my landline. I went to use the phone one day and basically i had no dial tone... i rang customer services and it stated on a automated message that if you were experience problems in the ST3 area, the engineers were aware of it and were working to rectify the problem. ... Virgin Media, oh dear where shall I start. I'm only writing this so that any readers considering signing up to Virgin can make an informed decision before they do. ...that they were okay. When Virgin Media took over a number of things happened that left me feeling a bit disgruntled: 1. We lost Sky 1, I have no idea what all the fuss was about between Sky and Virgin, but it was like watching kiddies in the playground, and every time I saw a Virgin full page spread in a national newspaper I though "I'm helping to pay for that". 2.
