Advantages: Ease of use - One touch scanning and saving and auto crop
Disadvantages: Due to high resolution 48 bit color - could use lots of disk space.

I have never used a scanner before, but with in 1 hour of installing the software/hardware i had created a photo album and slide show, due to its ease of use. You can scan with the press of one button straight to email printer or pc. I had some damaged photos which the software which comes with it, PhotoSuite III SE, fixed simply and easily. The scan quality is amazing. One disadvantage is if you have low disk space when scanning at full resolution ... Read review
