Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, looks stylish Disadvantages: The battery life
...the less well known brand Vivitar had the same spec at a much lower cost. At this time, the Vivitar Vivicam 3826 was the camera that fitted my specification perfectly, so I popped along to my local Index and bought the camera (£89.00 December 04). I have not seen the camera anywhere else, however, the Vivitar website has a list of all stockists. *** The Box *** The packaging itself is enough to get anyone excited! The camera comes in a small, colourful, ... ...start beeping, followed by the Vivitar logo on the screen. You then have to select your language, the time and date, and then you are free to start clicking away! On the top of the camera, you have a rotatable dial to change the photo taking modes. The first, and most useful if you are an amateur like myself is Auto, which has everything set so you simply have to point and shoot. Manual is the next option, which lets you adjust the lighting, colour ...

Advantages: was cheap for 4 mega pixel camera Disadvantages: eats batterys much mor quickly than other digtal cameras
This camera was bought in the sale at argos for £79.99. Features that attracted me to it was that it has a higer pixel count than my previous digital camera and also had optical zoom *3.
This camera has the features that you would expect from a digital camera with a movie feature. You can play back the movie, but on the camera, only with out sound. But when transfering it to computer you are then able to hear the sound . The movie quality is deccent ... ...all important home movies.
The picture quality is fine however the picture will be blurry with the slightest movement of the camera, so can be questionable if this is the qualtiy you would expect from a 4mega pixel camera. But for someone who would rest it somewhere the qualtiy would be much better
The major disadvantage is how this camera just eats batterys. But the batterys still have a fair bit of life in them, but it isnt enough to power the ...
