Advantages: Moderately inexpensive and easy to use - wide range of features Disadvantages: Limited to POINT AND SHOOT photography
...4100 scores top marks.
Vivitar is well known for it's range of mid-priced 'point and shoot' compact digital cameras - the ViviCam 4100 is a fairly typical example of this ilk, but offers several additional features normally only found on more expensive units.
Outwardly this is an entirely unremarkable camera - being a plastic bodied 'fag packet' sized compact digital - to the front is a small built in flash, and a lens with sliding cover which ... ...about the camera, except the Vivitar site doesn't list it as a current model (!) although most of the functions are clearly self-evident.

Advantages: Easy too use and not to many buttons great for taken pictures and real nice its got a red eye reducer so no more of those spots on pictures . Disadvantages: The zoom is not that great when taken pictures from far away and if you ever just wanted to take a quick picture that might be a problem when you do turn on the camera wait for the green light to stop flashing .
My husband got the camera for me as a gift . I am not very good with all these buttons and things and to my joy the camera was made just for some one like me. It is so easy to use! the nice thing is it has settings for day night and landscape and so on which is great for me I just set it to the setting I need and the camera dose brilliant clear pictures for me. We went out to London and was taken pictures with my fab camera switched it to night mode ... ...real nice. The only thing that dose bug me is that when I want to take a photo after I have switched off my camera is waiting for the green light to stop flashing so I can continue with the clicking fun, also the zoom is not to great but if you want a better picture move closer. The camera keeps telling you to enter the date if you take the batteries out unless you go in to the settings to turn off or you can just press ok and that dose it as well.It ...
