Yet another camera review. I have had so many cameras in my time but this particular camera is my girlfriends and what a camera it is. She purchased this camera about a year ago and has been using it since. The reason that I am writing a review about this camera is because I have used it more than her and I seem to know all of the ins and outs of the camera so I thought ... ...of the review about the Vivitar Vivicam 4345 my personal experience and opinion of the camera is very good and it has not yet failed the needs of me or my girlfriend who the camera was originally for but I seemed to use it more than her at one stage. So there is not anything bad that I can say about the camera really except that it is a little outdated now. For the look and design of the camera I would rate it a 7/10 because it is not the best looking ...

Advantages: Cheap and well built Disadvantages: Heavily drains batteries
I've had this camera for a year or so and it does have a few little quirks that will get on your nerves after a while.
Bad points:
*The memory card (not included with camera) to boost the amount of pictures you can take costs as much as £20 on the high street, quite steep for this budget range of camera.
*It goes through batteries like no mans business! it even seems to drain loaded batteries when the camera is turned off. I tended to take them ... ...camera would last a weeks holiday, and still ended up having to change them mid-way anyway.
*The picture quality, although good for this price range, seemed to struggle with landscapes; mid-way distance greens and browns became blurred and the definition was very average.
*Its not a camera you can take quick 'off -the-cuff' shots. Standard camera setting results tended to distort unless you switched to sport mode, even then the slightest hand movement ...
