Advantages: Cheap, good battery life Disadvantages: Unreliable, Falling apart, Tinny Music
...found they were selling the Vodafone 810 for an extremely reasonable £29.99. The blurb in the booklet told me that the 810 boasts most of the features of a far more expensive make and model. Among the features that caught my eye were the 2MP camera, MP3 player and Bluetooth. So I was hooked and splashed out my cash on what appeared to be just about the most full-featured mobile in my very low price range. The Styling Once I’d purchased the phone ... ...what I had got for my money. Well new out of the box it was certainly very shiny and it looked fairly stylish. This is a slide phone in black with silver detailing, it is however quite large and it has a real feeling of weight behind it. The thing is it looks as if it’s almost the twin of another manufacturer’s phone, namely the Nokia slide phones. Now to me this is an advantage of a sorts in that it actually looks far more expensive than it really ...

Advantages: large clear screen, great camera, Disadvantages: only demo games, slow to link to computer
...games can be downloaded from vodafone live. Also, the battery life isn't the best, but it can last a couple of days with medium use before it needs charging again. The music library is a bit irritating as you can only move tracks one at a time. The software installed on the phone takes a while to load onto a computer when you want to add music/photos/videos, so it is easier to use an SD card reader.
Despite of all these small flaws, this phone is ...

Advantages: 2mpix camera, great screen, everything works very well. Disadvantages: Can't put games from PC or other Phone on this one.
...or computer on this phone.
Vodafone put the DRM-settings on impossible :P.
You have to download them from WAP or Live!
One more thing: sometimes I can't put all my marked photos -> SD card.
Sms, mms, E-mail and calling has no problems.
The screen is really nice and high resolution.
Conclusion: Great phone for its price.
Highly recommended.
The only thing I miss is a flash.
The reviews from people who give low rates, haven't experienced this ...

Advantages: high-end look, large screen, great camera(s), decent as an iPod Disadvantages: Terminally Freezes/Crashes 4-5 times a day, you can't upload anything for free
...(you need to go to vodafone to get it fixed only for it to break again). Also, if you bought it and are not satisfied, according to it's contract, you are not allowed to change it with any other model. It's keypad is half a nanometer thick and it cracks and then breaks off completely after 2 months. Warrancy says it's your fault and they would charge you 40 quid to replace it on a 30 quid phone :P It is impossible for you to install new applications/themes/games ... ...resolution. You can watch a few pointless TV channels on it, if you also like to burn big stacks of money for no good reason.) PS: one more problem (that I didn't test yet) might consist of issues with recieving sms-es, as I have heard on the Vodafone Forums ...

Quick review of Vodafone 810
Cons: The phone regularly shut itself down when bluetooth was turned on until I sent it back for a software upgrade. You have to delete sms messages 1 at a time as there's no 'delete all'. The battery life is terrible and you can't sync the address book via bluetooth.
Pros: Looks nice ...

Advantages: Has most common features: somewhat good but expandable memory, bluetooth, very nice camera, DEMO games Disadvantages: DRM'ed phone, easily breakable, keypad easily stratched, several problems
...thus repaired for free by Vodafone twice - problems were blank white screens when turning on, and not turning on at all some times). Complete and utter waste of money. It does offer the most common features people look for in a phone (Bluetooth, somewhat decent memory, very nice camera). But overall its poor, it's memory is poor but granted can be upgraded via a memory card. It is virtually a rip off of Sony Ericsson mobiles. Stay well away. It really ...

Advantages: Good look and a very good all around phone Disadvantages: Cant add any more games to the phone through USB
The Vodafone 810 is the best phone i have ever purchased and i am so glad that i did end up buying it. I have had a range of many phone products from a rage of companies along with some of the top models and brands. This phone has great features which kept me entertained and the features were reliable when i needed to use them. This phone is like pandoras box! the amount of things you can do with it is unbeleivable. The sheer look of the phone has ...
