Generally A Good Service

Advantages: Lots of flexabiliy
Disadvantages: Customer Services very poor

...allows you to add 4 Vodafone numbers to a circle of friends. For £5 per month, this allows each member of the group to call each other for up to 60 minutes without being charged. As long as the call does not exceed 60 minutes, there is no limit as to the amount of calls that can be made during the month. The big advantage of this service is that a call can be made to another group member at any time of the day regardless of whether there is credit ...
...much you use the phone, Vodafone offer a free weekend option. If you spend £5 during the week, you will qualify for free calls and texts on Saturday and Sunday. I would say however that if you are spending £5 per week on a mobile then a monthly contract should be considered as there are more benefits such as inclusive calls. Network coverage I have found with Vodafone to be very good. There are a few black spots where signal is weak or non existent, ...

VODAFONE - become a Vodaclone

Advantages: Price Plans, Coverage, Ethics
Disadvantages: The TV adverts

~~~ Vodafone History ~~~ Vodafone is the largest mobile network provider in the UK and it's headquarters is based in Newbury, Berkshire close to junction 13 of the M4, which is home to over 6000 employees. Back in 1983, a small electronics firm called Racal teamed up with an American telecoms company and together they bid (and won) one of the 2 mobile phone operators licenses which were put up for grabs by the government. Vodafone was launched ...
The next 6 years saw Vodafone buying out smaller operators and spreading it's tentacles around the globe to bring it where it is today - - 165 million customers worldwide - over 15 million UK customers - market value of £94 billion - employing over 60,000 staff Vodafone ...
Vodafone
Advantages: great UK customer service, great coverage
Disadvantages: NA
Vodafone is a phone company I used to be with years ago, but due to the rest of my family members switching, I had to make the switch to the same provider as them. Now, they have made the switch back to Vodafone, and I have recently done the same, and have to say, it's a great network to be with, and has a vast amount of call plans == Making the Switch == To make the switch to Vodafone, I ordered a Sim Pack online, which was free with free deliver- ...
I have now been with Vodafone again, for about a month, and can honestly say, the network has not changed since last time I had it, which was a good 3 or 4 years ago - it still has fantastic network coverage, and good customer service == Customer Service == This leads me ...
Worth considering
Advantages: Free info service, good coverage
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive calls
Vodafone Pay as You Go was the first mobile service I ever used. I now use several networks, since my phone is not locked. Vodafone Pay as You Go has two tariffs: Smartstep and Allcalls. If you're on one, it costs £5 to change to the other. However, you can change free of charge within 7 days of purchasing your phone, so it doesn't matter what your phone is initially set to. THE TARIFFS Standard calls are calls to land lines or Vodafone mobiles, ...
...So it may seem like Vodafone is a bad choice on price alone. However, the Vodafone network does has its redeeming features. The best thing about Vodafone is its free information service 'Scoot'. By calling 333 you get through to someone to whom you can ask cinema times, taxi booking numbers, and many other things its useful to know when you're out and about. These calls are totally free. I find this service very useful, since other networks often ...
One of the better service providers!!
Advantages: good customer service
Disadvantages: few hiccups but resolved quickly
I've been with Vodafone for eight years now and I consider Vodafone being one of the exeptions when it comes to service providers. Majority of service providers are absolutely appalling and we come across problems with them more or less all the time, however I would recommend Vodafone to anyone. As a text a lot they do come in useful however I do ...
Can I pay and go
Advantages: Lot's of reductions
Disadvantages: Falling a little behind their competitors at the moment
I have been with Vodafone for about 5 years now, and generally I find them to be very good. I did switch to Orange for a short period of time and I have to say that Orange were far more expensive (or seemed it anyway). I'm not sure why I chose Vodafone in the first place, probably because they were a reputable company and out of the choices I had 5 years ago, I think there was only Vodafone and Cellnet? Later on other choices became available, then ...
...think Vodafone has improved the service it provides on pay-as-you-go. You now have different price plans. The standard plan, which costs something like 30p a minute peak times, 2p off peak (not to other networks), and smart step which costs 25p a minute for the first three minutes of phone usage in the day, then 5p a minute afterwards. I use smart step because I need my phone through the day just as much as on an evening. Smart step gets rid of ...
...changed networks from Orange to Vodafone and I think Vodafone is much better. The reception is excellent. When I had my Orange network my phone calls would consistently get cut, at times the network would be so busy it would be difficult to place a phone call. The reception is really good and you receive friendly service. I would recommend Vodafone as it’s a good network but it could improve by dropping the charges to other ...
Vodafone Mobile Network - Not The Worst, Not The Best
Advantages: Good signal; good range of phones; reasonably priced plans
Disadvantages: Poor customer services; long customer service waiting times; incorrect bills
...me, I came across a Vodafone leaflet which came inside my television magazine. Usually I throw these kind of leaflets straight in the bin, but they were offering 500 minutes and unlimited texts for £25 a month, as well as a brand new phone. I didn't really know of anyone on the Vodafone network - my parents and siblings were either on 02 or T-Mobile, but I reasoned it couldn't be any worse than the '3' network, so I started a contract with Vodafone. ...
With Vodafone, as I've previously mentioned, I can make calls and send/receive texts wherever I want. If you're looking for a network ...
I have been with the Vodafone network for around 18 months now, having originally chosen this network partly because many of my friends were already on Vodafone (Vodafone to Vodafone calls being cheaper than cross-network) and because my local KJC store was offering a very good deal with free connection and also the then recently released Nokia 3210 free of charge. As I was on a special deal, my billing was originally done by a separate company ...
All the leisure tariffs give away free off-peak minutes and the business tariffs give away anytime minutes. The tariff I am on was a special one only available at KJC, and I get lower ...
Why I Stick to Vodafone and VF Retail
Advantages: Good customer and quality of service
Disadvantages: Probably not the chepest network
Vodafone was the first network in UK and has seen been the market leader.
