If the stuff in your tap tastes like mine...

Advantages: It's good for you! Much nicer than tap water.
Disadvantages: Not as cheap as the stuff that comes out of the tap.

...the price. I buy my Volvic in packs of 6 bottles, each one containing a litre and a half. Last time I bought some I paid £2.92 in Tesco which works out at 33p a litre. Admittedly, it’s a lot more expensive than the stuff out of the tap but I don’t think that 33p a litre is a bad price – it’s certainly cheaper than a lot of the other fancy bottled waters available that don’t get offered in multipacks. Volvic is also sold ...
...information on the bottle label, Volvic authorised by the French Ministry for Health and is filtered through layers of volcanic rocks in the Auvergne National Park. During this filtering process the water is purified and also absorbs many of the minerals that make up its composition. It is these minerals that apparently give Volvic its taste. The label gives a typical analysis of these minerals and in case you’re interested, I’ve listed ...

More money than sense

Advantages: Refreshing and good for you
Disadvantages: Expensive

...latest “water of choice” is Volvic – so not only am I drinking bottled water, I’m being very unpatriotic and drinking French bottled water! Mind you, as Northumbrian Water is now owned by a French company, whatever way you look at it, I’m drinking French water! **Packaging** My half litre bottle of Volvic is in a “crushable & recyclable bottle”. The lid is blue but the bottle is clear plastic. It cost me ...
...colourful picture showing me how Volvic is being filtered constantly by layers of volcanic rocks beneath the ancient volcanoes of the Auvergne National Park. These volcanic rocks, which include Basalt and Andesite, naturally purify the water, imparting their precious minerals and giving Volvic its “unique composition” and “delicate taste”. **Typical Analysis** I don’t know how much you can remember from your Chemistry ...

Ohhh ummmm refeshing WATER

Advantages: Good for you
Disadvantages: Boring!

...**~~WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT VOLVIC WATER?~~** All natural mineral water must come from a pollution free source. The water must also be bottled at source and nothing can be done to alter the flavour of the water. This goes for all natual mineral waters and not just Volvic (However, spring water has different regulations). Volvic water comes from the Auvergne National Park in France. You might have seen the advert for Volvic where it explains that ...
...add the minerals. Volvic is the 2nd most popular bottled water in the UK. Evian is Britain's favourite bottled water. Evian water comes from the French Alps and orginally comes from glacier waters. So, you can see why the individual waters as supposed to taste different! **~~WHY IS IT SO GOOD FOR YOU?~~** Here's a quick rundown of all the minerals found in mineral water and exactly why you need them: ~Calcium: Good for bones but also for your ...

CRYSTAL CLEAR

Advantages: Very refreshing
Disadvantages: Expensive

...can say; slightly warm and Volvic loses all its refreshing properties. Overall? I only ever used to drink water in cordial drinks but I think that’s about to change. I enjoy the fresh taste of ‘Volvic’ enough to drive me to buy it. Additional information: I have noticed Volvic mineral water in two sized bottles: 500ml and 1.5l. The 500ml bottle retails at about 59p and the 1.5l at about 99p. I have also been informed that Volvic ...

A New set of clothes for the Emperor

Advantages: Refreshing
Disadvantages: Expensive for water

...followed by companies like Evian, Volvic and Vittel, took off and is now a massive market in the UK. This is my review of one of those brands - Volvic. The Company ----------- Volvic are based in Volvic (where else!?) in France. All of their water is bottled at source at the Clairvic spring. This region is highly volcanic and the idea is that the water drains through the hills picking up nutritional minerals en-route whilst filtering out any impurities. ...
...The Packaging ------------- Volvic comes in a highly distinctive bottle. It is transparent and almost like a square tube in shape with ridges all the way up. These allow the bottle to be squashed once consumed and also the bottle is recyclable so thumbs up in the environmentally aware sense! In terms of labelling, this is quite small (about and inch and a half in length) and is draped around the top of the botte. There are pictures of green hills ...

a fresh and French water from volcanoes

Advantages: good for your health
Disadvantages: heavy to carry at home!!

...for me. And realy like Volvic because this water has a nice taste and is not too expensive. Indeed, you can buy a bottle of 1.5 litre per £0.59. Origin ****** ~ The Volvic water comes from the volcanoes of the Auvergne National Park, a really nice place for peacefull holidays in France. ~ Volvic water filters through layers of volcanic rock, and this natural purification and the precious minerals absorbed are what give its delicate taste. It ...
...You can easily identify the Volvic bottle with its colors (blue, white and green) and the picture of the volcanoes from where comes the water. ~ Each bottle contain 1.5l and you can also find a little one which only contain 0.50l. ~ the design is not original, and the bottle is not very convenient because it is not ergonomic like the Evian one. It is quite the same form than the Highland's bottle. The Taste ********* ~ It is good, but you know ...

Wata' waste of money

Advantages: Good for you
Disadvantages: not much different to the stuff that comes out of the tap!

...happened upon a bottle of Volvic (although I cannot recall why!) and decided to see if I could do a “taste test” (a la Coke/Pepsi) and blind taste the difference. Quite simply, I couldn’t tell the difference between the Volvic and the water out of our cooler. Before you jump on me and proclaim that I am simply tasting two mineral waters, stop. The water from our cooler at work is simple London tap water, just cold! Volvic is a ...
...In their defence the Volvic bottle is recyclable and is designed such that it is easily crushable to take up less space in the recycling facilities. All you have to do is to make sure that you take your bottle with you when you go! So, my conclusion…tap water it is for me. It is cheaper, chills well and tastes the same. Bottled water will remain for me an expensive luxury that I live without! ...

I Prefer Krakow

Advantages: It is Water
Disadvantages: It is Water

...make hangovers go away…… Volvic Natural Mineral Water from France is one of my favourite bottled waters as it tastes like water should, like water and it costs 50p for a half litre. It is bottled at source in the Auvergne national park, and it gets its minerals from the volcanic rock it goes through. I doubt the claims that it contains the natural power of volcanoes as if it did it would likely be very harmful for me….. I prefer it to other waters ...
...calcium rich bottled waters have a chalky taste but this is the way I like my water with a fairly neutral taste. It is also readily available and most shops around Manchester stock a large quantity of it. After 7 years of drinking bottled water the thought of drinking tap water actually disgusts me (sorry) and I know that Manchester water is amongst the best in the country for having good minerals in it but when was the last time your water pipes ...

Water way to go.

...that in terms of taste, Volvic is the better class of water when it comes to comparing them. OK, so the price is a little bit more expensive that its counter parts but I just like to think that I am in fact paying for the quality. OK, so call me a snob but as I am sure you will agree with me it is worth just paying that little bit extra in order to get that little bit more taste (OK class). My only real major grumble about this brand is that I cannot ...

BYE BYE TROUBLED SKIN. HELLO GORGEOUSNESS!

Advantages: health benefits, better skin.
Disadvantages: Have to stick to it to get the results

...The natural mineral water volvic offers not only has a soft feel to the tongue, but there is no bitter after taste which some drinks and tap water provide. It is just pure goodness. However some people wou;d argue that drinkin chilled tap water is just the same as bottled. I don't do this for two reasons. Firstly, I find it hard to continuously supply my fridge with fresh water, wait for it to cool down then consume it. Another disadvantage is that ...
...doesn't have the nutrients that volvic has. As the bottle states, it is for people who are 'ON THE GO' and don't have time to do such things, or maybe are just lazy! Either way, the bottle suits me just fine. The advertising of the product shows us how the water 'filters through layers of volcanic rock acquring a UNIQUE mineral composition' before it reaches us, wheres this cannot be said for plain tap water. The way they advertise this is very ...

Advantages: Quenches your thirst, better than tap water.
Disadvantages: Costs Money (but then doesn't everything)

...up buying a bottle of Volvic Mineral Water. It is 1L and it comes equipped with a sports cap which is cool. Now when I bought it, it was cold as it was in the fridge and it tasted gorgous and fresh and seemed to revitalise every part of my as it went down my throat but as the day has worn on it has got warm and is now just like tepid tap water...yummy! It also states that it is suitable for a low sodium diet and that its total dry residue (?!) at 180 degrees C is 130mg/l and ph7.0. I hope that is good as I don't have a clue apart from it is more alkaline than acid. It is bottled at the source which is the Clairvic Spring in France. The label also has the logo...in the ...

turning into a water freak

Advantages: no odour and it's water
Disadvantages: expensive when u can get same in a tap

...water that they sold was Volvic Natural Mineral Water. oh ok and the sparkling version but I should point out I don't like Sparkling water! I went to pay for it and it cost me 42p which I thought was expensive because as a rule and principle I've always said water should be free even if it's in a bottle or not! Anyway that's enough of my story of purchasing the bottle so I'll tell you a bit about it: Packaging: It's in a clear 0.5L bottle (which ...
...My personal opinion on Volvic is that it's water and it's convienient to take on trips or anywhere where you won't find a tap. You'll propably get it cheaper aswell if you buy from a bulk in a supermarket. Personally I'll stick to my tap water as nothing beats it! Thanx for taking time to read my review. ...

Review of Volvic Natural Still Mineral Water

Volcanicity?

Advantages: Refreshing
Disadvantages: It's water, after all

...What makes volvic different from other mineral waters? It is made in France, through volcanic rocks, which enables the water to pick up minerals along the way. The bottle itself is clear with a blue lid. It has volvic on the front in dark blue letters, on a background of white with a pale blue 'sky' and green mountains. It has 'fuel your volcanicity' on it in red, on a yellow background, with a picture of a cartoon man bungee jumping while holding ...
...amazed when I read on the side of the bottle ' Do not refill'. I tend to refill bottles a lot, & mention of a brand that says not to seems strange to me. What can I say about the taste? It has a clean, refreshing taste, and very easy to drink. It immediately quenched my thirst, with no nasty aftertaste that can sometimes appear with tap water. I would definitely buy this again, as it was refreshing, and not too expensive. This is suitable for anyone ...
