WHAT IS IT? The Volvo S60 is Volvo's first truly modern, non-brick shape design. OK, I know that a couple of you will argue that the S80 came first by a short head, but nobody could really offer that up as a style icon. ...sat nav was that the volvo option was £3000 and the VDO was £1200. This was quite a saving so it was decided that it would be better . Finally the car was fitted with a 100 watt siren . The switched were fitted neatly below the heating controls. The car its self also has electronic seats with memory. The seats are leather and heated. Bought this car new in May 2003. Best car I have ever had. Diesel D5 engine is reliable and very powerful, better than most petrols, and gives 45mpg easily. Build quality good but wish I'd gone for SE model as it is loaded with all extras. The S model comes with basic features and you have to order all the extras you want. Eats tyres, particularly front, quite quickly but that may be due to my driving. Handling in all conditions excellent due to traction ... Read review
