Small portable hard drives have become very common these days with most electronic manufacturers producing them. So, the question is what separates this one from any of the others on the market? I think with these things it simply boils down to reliability. I have found that mostly they are easy to use and this one is no exception. It is ready to go as soon as you remove it from its packaging. No software installation is required although this may ... ...was using Window Vista and it popped up straight away. This device seems to be fairly fast. Again this is tricky to tell as often computer dependant but I have used mine on a number of different machines, including a Mac, and it has worked swiftly. As it has a USB 2 connection it can transfer about 1 GB in about 2 mins on a good day. I have bought this about a week ago, so I haven't had a lot of opportunities to test the product out yet. But I have to admit I really like it, because it has a very sleek design and it looks very classy. I am pretty impressed that such a small device can store up to 320GB of data. The other impressive thing is that it only needs to be plugged in USB and it works instantly. It is so easy and handy to carry around. It doesn't take up a lot of space ... ...too. The good thing about storing your data onto this little hard drive is that it allows you to set a password on the hard drive or on files / folders that you do not want to share with others in case they get a glimpse. The sync is very handy too. You can set the hard to sync files / folders each time you connect the drive to your PC / laptop, so it can be used as a backup drive. ...
