WH Smiths A4 Laminator I have to admit to having a slight fetish when it comes to stationary and the like. It has always been the case ever since school and I find there is nothing more exciting than buying a brand new notepad or a nice new fountain pen. This is quite a common fetish apparently although I have yet to meet anyone who actually admits to it. This laminator was really something that was bought on a spur of the moment rather than needing it for a purpose. Of course now that I have had it a good while I really couldn’t’ see how I ever did without it! At the time I bought it, it was ... more

Wow The Laminator has now gone down in price to £9.87 I found the WHSmith A4 Laminator for just £14.99 and because we had basic needs felt this would be efficient enough for the job in hand which it was for a while at least. It is very stylish in looks and nice and compact when placed on the desk. I also bought 50 A4 pouches at the same time also from WHSmith and these cost £7.99 which is really expensive because you can get 250 A4 pouches on the internet for under £5 You do have to be careful because small bubbles often appear but you can prick these with a needle and it is ok. If you wrinkle ... more

I remember a time when such gadgets as laminators would have been far too expensive for me to have even thought of buying. I had always wanted one, ever since I had had to use one at my very first job in an office and I remember always volunteering to be the one to operate the machine, I was completely amazed at the machine and how it worked and the end result it provided. Granted, the machine we used was an industrial sized one, big noisy and used a lot, and probably cost mega bucks, but it just goes to show how times change and these are now readily available in shops on the High Street for ... more

WHSmith A4 Laminator, I have had this nifty gadget for just over a year now. used time and time again. I paid around £15 for this Laminator and was very happy with that. it was more of an impulse buy, I was in the local WHSmith buying office supplies for work, when it caught my eye. It is for sale in WHSmith to this day for £14.99. "Laminate your A4 documents with this WHSmith Laminator. The laminator features a 3-5 minute warm-up time and for precision there is a jam-release button. The maximum pouch thickness is 2x100 microns." I use this for all sorts of day to day things, from projects at ... more

Our laminator was purchased directly from WH Smith and this is their own make and model. Cost at the time of purchase approximately just over 12 months ago was £14.99 though I have since seen them reduced in price just after the Christmas period and into the New Year. I purchased this for my own personal use as I needed to laminate name tags for students during training and induction exercises and I was unable to make use of the one at my place of work due to office moves and it had become ‘mislaid’ during transportation. I also felt that it would come in useful possibly for anything we wished ... more
