Advantages: Great flavour Disadvantages: gets a bit sickly after a few
...calls you a girl: Blue wkd has a higher alcohol content than most bottles of beer/ lager or glasses of wine. And if you come in the female variety...well I suggest strong sarcastic remarks at this point.
The major appeal of this product for me would have to be the taste. It's fantastically sweet and tastes...well.. blue? I'm told its a blend of fruit mixed with some vodka but my pallet isn't really amazingly sophisticated so it tends to only tell ... ...yourself to like dishwater. Blue Wkd falls into the "ooo good" response group.
The slight downside of this being so sweet is that after four or seven of these (most likely the latter in my case) it starts to get a little bit sickly. Fizzy things tend not to be my friend and bloat me out like nothing on earth, a great sexy feeling to have when crusing for a hot guy.
Another warning for your innards. If you go out and get absolutely plastered on ...

...the main alcopop around, however WKD has changed things as it is more of a unisex alcopop and can be enjoyed by men without certain allegations being made about their sexuality! The television adverts shows WKD as being a ‘lads’ drink, as it shows a group of lads who, like any blokes between 20 and 35, play tricks on each other. WKD is an abbreviation of Wicked, thus making the slogan “Have you got a WKD side” make some sense.

It isn’t sickly sweet like other alcopops are and it is very refreshing and energising to keep you dancing a bit longer! The drink isn’t particularly strong (5.5%) and comes in 275ml bottles the same as bottles beers come in. You can drink a quite a few WKD’s before you are drunk, which can be perceived as positive ...

WKD is one of the many alcopops drinks currently on the market.
There are three types of WKD - Irn Bru, Silver and Blue and today Matthew I’m going to be Blue. Sorry, thought I was on Stars in your Eyes for a moment………..

However, I asked for a W K D and was gruffly ... ...The latest bottle of blue WKD that I bought was from the corner shop, which retailed at £1.29 although I think they are a lot cheaper in Tesco’s if bought in packs of four.
The product is in a clear glass bottle with no fancy designs or lettering.
On the front of the bottle is a dark blue rectangle with the lettering WKD and underneath that is written Original Vodka Blue.
The appearance of the drink is what grabs everyone’s attention. It is a ...

WKD is an alcopop that has been around for a while now - first as a kind of alcoholic Irn Bru and now as blue WKD and silver WKD. I'm sure you are all familiar with the concept of an alcopop but just to recap they are alcoholic versions of soft drinks in lurid colours which come in glass bottles. They appeared back in about 1996 to much controversy because grown ups thought kiddies would drink them. They were right! Blue WKD (That's Blue Wicked) comes in a 275ml clear bottle and (surprise surprise) is a bright blue colour. You'll spot it a mile off in the fridges behind any bar or in any off-licence. Expect to pay £2-£3 in a club or bar (depends on standard alcopop price) and around £1 for a bottle in a shop. My friends buy them in bulk which ...

...listerine. Hmm. Anyway, apparentley WKD is reffered to as an RTD (a ready-to-drink) beverage. This means that you can just buy, drink, and be happy. No mixing or whatever. WKD drinks are basically vodka mixers- a flavouring mixed with vodka. They do WKD Blue, Irn Bru, and WKD red. I first discovered my WKD side while out with the lads one Friday night. I noticed those little Blue and Orange bottles sitting in the fridge behind the bar - calling out to my wallet, so I had to try them. The choice I was faced with was orange or blue, orange or blue? hmmmmm I tried them both. You are one of two types of WKD person - a WKD Blue or a WKD Bru. Not both. The flavours are so distinctly different that I as yet havent met a single person ... ...of the two.
WKD Bru is in my opinion no different to any other Iron Bru flavoured alcopop. The reason being that the Iron Bru flavour is so over-used and abused that it is now easily reproduced. If you are an Iron Bru type of person the only thing you achieve by trying WKD Bru is to lose an extra 50p from your wallet per round.
WKD Blue is by far the best of the two flavours. It is unique and of high quality and in my opinion is worth the pricey ...

WKD Original Vodka is a brand of alcopop which is part of the RTD (ready to drink) market and is extremely popular in the United Kingdom. In 2006 it was placed number 2 in the RTD Market. The name is pronounced "wicked", however, when the drink was revamped, the logo was changed to "WKD" although many drinkers still refer to it as the original name… "wicked". Irn Bru WKD - Orange coloured. Irn Bru flavoured.

...My ultimate favourite is WKD Blue. It comes in a clear glass 275ml bottle with a blue rectangle sticker and the words WKD. You can always spot it due ot he bright blue content. On the bottle it is described as a Vodka fruit based drink, 5.5 % alcoholic. There are also 2 other flavours, Vodka Iron Brew and Sliver which I have to say I have not seen so much of in clubs and have never tried.
In a club or bar you can expect to pay between £2.00 - £3.00 ... ...get any hangovers from drinking WKD Blue and always have a clear head the next day. Apparently, this is due to it being Vodka based and something to do with it being a pure content. I guess it also helps if you don't mix the alcholic drinks.

Blue WKD has been in stock in my local for some time. I've been looking at it, and wondering "should I give it another go?" (memories of orange WKD still linger, and I wasn't too impressed by the blue one some months ago). So, yesterday, bracing myself for the experience of letting something blue past my lips - let's face it, most blue foods are blue 'cos they've gone off and are covered in mould! - I handed over some hard-earned cash to the not- ... ...Ugh and double-ugh!
SUMMARY:
WKD is quite a popular drink. Heaven only knows why! They all taste pretty disgusting! I've tried the orange one (tastes like Irn Bru - you either like it or you don't); the blue one tastes like juicy fruit chewing gum (again, like oysters, you love 'em or hate 'em). The only one I can honestly vaguely recommend is WKD Silver because it just tastes like vodka and lemonade (but even that one's over-sugared). Definitely ...

Advantages: Great Colour Disadvantages: Too much Fizz
...so I bought a blue WKD (I think WKD means WicKeD). I paid an extortionate amount of £3.40 (in a posh pub). It comes as a bright turquoise coloured clear liquid in a clear glass bottle, the ABV is 5.5%, about normal % for alcopops. Out in pubs and clubs it comes in the normal sized bottles. (275ml). But I think I remember seeing bigger bottles for about £3.50 in my local off licenses.
Friday night, as I mentioned I’d had a few lagers, and the drink ... ...went out and drunk blue WKD from the beginning of the night. Being fully sober and in control of all of my senses the great drink I had experienced the night before wasn’t actually so great. It was gassy (too much fizz isn’t nice) and the taste was far too fruity, blueberry flavoured. The fact that it was gassy meant that it left me feeling bloated so I wasn’t able to drink very much, even though I tried. Although after three bottles I had a strangely ...
