It may not need to be re-stated but I am a pretty big Aerosmith fan. Then again, I would have probably bought this book were I not, thanks to the warm response and celebration that Walk This Way received from critics when it was released. I began reading this book as a fan of the music of Aerosmith, but with little knowledge of their background. For any Aerosmith fan, any rock music fan, or even anyone with just a general interest in reading a really good biography, I highly recommend this book. A word of warning however, it's not for the faint-hearted or tight-lipped, so if the idea of an out-of-contol rock band makes you shudder, this might be one to leave on the shelf. Walk this Way is the definitive Aerosmith autobiography written by the band and family and friends. Starting way back as youngsters this roller coaster of a book tells you everything you need to know about Rock Gods Aerosmith and loads you don’t need as well but its very juicy stuff. Brilliantly written featuring direct interviews with all the protagonists in the story it paints a picture that if it wasn’t true you would find it hard to believe.
