I decided to take a little break from writing about chocolate in order to write a little something about my number one passion...crisps! You have to admit it...Crisps are addictive! The yummy tastes of prawn cocktail, cheese and onion, barbeque beef, salt and vinegar, smoky bacon, marmite, chicken, spring onion, pickled onion,paprika...the list goes on and on.And not to mention all the yummy brands that make these crisps...walkers,doritos,pringles,McCoys...God I could go on forever! As you all know I am a crispaholic. There is absolutely no discrimination towards any flavour or any brand in my tummy.I ... more

Advantages Advantages great taste, one of the most popular flavours of crisps

Disadvantages Disadvantages Leaves breath smells cheesy with a hint of onion.

Walkers Cheese & Onion Crisps are possibly one of the nicest flavours of crisps going although until recently I couldn’t stand to smell them let alone eat them. I’m not a great lover of onion however since I tasted cheese and onion crisps without realising it, I have not looked back. Walkers cheese and onion are available for almost every super market, post office or grocery store as they are one of the most popular flavours of crisps. They are reasonably priced and are available in a few different sized bags. The standard size is 25g however a bigger bag is available called a “big eat” bag ... more

    Advantages Advantages Tasty and satisfying.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Fattening.

Walkers the king of all crisps, well in my opinion. Cheese and onion have long been a favourite of mind and have held a long term place in second place on my all time favourite crisps, behind smoky bacon, but this Christmas they have been demoted down to third place as Turkey and Paxo stuffing claimed the top spot. Enough of my top ten crisp flavours, I wonder if there is a category on CIAO for that, and back to the op in hand about cheese and onion walkers crisps. The look of the product. They come in bags of either 34.5g or in a big eat size of 55g, I normally go for the 34.5g bags as they ... more

Who Makes It? Walkers Cheese & Onion crisps are made by the company Walkers. Walkers are a British snack food manufacturer. They are known in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland as Walkers but are known as Lay’s elsewhere. The name may be different but the logo is the same everywhere. Walkers are now owned by Frito-Lay which is a part of PepsiCo. They offer a wide variety of flavours and are always bringing out new ones either forever or just for a limited time. Price & Availability This packet is a 34.5g bag and it cost 54p in my local co-op. The price varies depending on where you ... more

Advantages Advantages Goes well with the 4th or 5th pint of Beer

Disadvantages Disadvantages Really not something Id have too often, leaves your breath smelling horrible

Well it would seem that my names Andy and I’m addicted to Walkers crisps. Yep that’s right for the 4th time in about 3 weeks I’m delving into another packed of Walkers finest crisps. Only this time it isn’t really there finest. In fact it’s actually Cheese and Onion flavour and for once it’s not a flavour I’m overly keen on. I’ve already spoken about my addiction to Walkers and in particular Beef and Onion and Prawn Cocktail and so with that let me begin this bag of Cheese and Onion. I don’t know if this is just me but I’ve notice when ever you buy a multipack with cheese and onion crisps in ... more

Walkers crisps are the original and one of the best in my opinion. The crisps are a good size and cut from good potatoes, it is very rare to find a bad crisp in your bag and this is great as I don't have to particularly worry about paying much attention when delving in to the bag and wolfing down a whole packet in 2 minutes flat! The crisps come in a foil bag (for freshness) with blue colouring (for cheese & onion) and the familiar Walkers logo as well as nutritional information, ingredients and further details on cooking methods, potatoes used and information on Walkers themselves. The bag is ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Oniony!

The packet claims “There’s no crisp like Walkers” and I’m inclined to agree. For me Walker’s crisps are the best on the market. From prenium packaging, thorough a wide range of flavours, to simply good quality crisps, I’ve found these to be tasty, and good value for money (27p for a 25g pack). According to their website, 11 million people will eat a Walkers product every day, so I can’t be wrong! And why am I reviewing this flavour? Apparently cheese and onion is the most popular. And it’s what I’m scoffing now. It’s no wonder these are so popular, the flavour is really nice. Not too strong ... more

These crisps taste absolutely gorgeous. Then again I am pretty easily pleased when it comes to my snacks as people who have read my other opinions will say! However I do not like every single packet of crisps I try so I do think my views are accurate and not just one of a greedy g*t! So then back to the crisps in question. These are gorgeous because they aren't greasy and the taste is heaven. There are a few crsips who can boast these traits, but not many will compete with the Walkers brand. Since I love cheese and onion flavour, 1 may argue that I won't mind any cheese and onions crisps. Well ... more
