Advantages: Full of calcium, yummy flavours, cheap to buy, Disadvantages: I haven't found any
I used to have mini Milks as a child and I used to be a huge fan of these ice creams. I’m 22, and I’m an even bigger fan of them now! As a child I remember the mini milk packets with the cows on the front, now they seem to come in rather plain looking wrappers.

Advantages: Lovely taste, not too big. Disadvantages: Too small for some people, can be bland.
When you’re fed up of those expensive Magnums, and all you want is a little bit of sweetness to cool you down in the hot weather, there is one ice lolly you’ll love and adore – Mini Milk. Not everyone has heard of Mini Milk, because it’s known as the poor man’s ice-lolly. It’s not very big, it’s not very imaginative and it’s not everyone’s favourite lolly. But, just because it’s not as good ... ...boiling hot weather like it has been recently. Mini Milk is very cheap, and if you want a little something for a child, and you don’t want to fork out much, it’s perfect. But, it’s also perfect for big kids as well, and I put myself under that category!
**The Taste**
Basically, Mini Milk is milk frozen, but much more glamorised than that. Of course there are a few added secret ingredients along the way, which makes it the Mini ...

Advantages: Kids love them, low calorie Disadvantages: Strawberry - *yuk, yuk*, flavour is too milky
The sun was blazing in Brum yesterday so we decided on an impromtu day out to Sutton Park, complete with picnic rug and a coolbox brimming with sarnies, crisps, apples and anything else I could get my hands on in the 5 minutes between deciding we were going out and getting in the car. After eating our picnic and having a stroll around the park for a couple of hours we were all feeling hot and bothered and in desperate need of a cool down, cue the ... ...moment and remembered reading an op recently about Mini Milk and being surprised how few calories were in one, so I decided to go for one of those rather than a 'packed with fat' Cornetto. Right, I'll have a strawberry one.
oOoOo THE LOOK oOoOo
Blatantly a kiddies product, my Mini Milk came in a pastel pink wrapper showing cartoon cows and plenty of hearts and flowers - my 4 year old daughter loved it! The back of the wrapper shows masses of writing! ...

Advantages: Creamy, cheap and satisfying. Disadvantages: Oh so mini!!
It's a hot summers day, the heat so intense your heads spins with dizziness, the sweat literally drips from your face. Craving something sweet to fill that peckish hole yet cold enough to help cool you down … there's only one solution and it comes in 3 flavours. Mini Milk.
What is Mini Milk?
Mini Milks are very mini frozen ice-lolly treats that are based around milk. They have been around for decades and even with today's generation, the sheer ... ...a perfect, cheap little treat for the little uns and for big kids like myself too :) Flavours?
The 3 flavours available are your basic, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate.
The vanilla flavour is based around well … milk basically. It is very sweet and very creamy which I love! It can be just like a milkshake. But it can be a bit sickly too if you're a bit of a gannet like me and like to scoff more than one … oops! Yet I've also found that it is ...

==Walls Mini Milk Lollies== Well after last night's disaster with the cheesecake, I thought that I would try again with a different dessert, as we always like something sweet to finish a meal. I was shopping in Tesco and came across these lollies on offer - they reminded me of sunny days and my childhood, so I put them in the trolley. They also reminded me of the dreadful time when I experimented and tried to make my own by pouring a glass of milk ... ...home! ===What are they like?=== These lollies come in a pack of twelve individually wrapped milk lollies, in the flavours of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. The packaging is nice and bright with an orange box, with pictures of the lollies themselves on the front along with some cows and fresh strawberries. It clearly states that they are rich in calcium and are made with fresh milk. It also tells us that they are free from artificial colours and ...

Advantages: Low in fat, tasty, great fun! Disadvantages: Dissappear to quickly
These miniature milky treats really do make me feel like I’m 5 years old again. Whenever it was hot and we were allowed an ice cream my mum would always buy me mini milk. I still don’t know if this was down to the fact they were small and I wouldn’t be able to eat a big ice cream, or just the fact that they were cheap! lol!
These mini milks can be bought separately or in a multi pack. I have a nice big box in the freezer now which I got the weekend.
... ...yellow. This is nice and bright and stands out to the consumer (oh don’t I sound posh!). This isn’t what made me buy them. However, it draw my attention to them and I realised I hadn’t had them for years and so bought them. There is also a cartoon picture of 2 little cows (that are rather cute I must say) and a cartoon picture of 3 mini milks in different colours which immediately tells you the flavours there are without having to say it. There is ...

As many of you know, I struggle with my weight, and I'm constantly trying to lose a little - this doesn't mean I want to be without my favourite treats though - and I still love an ice-cream now and then . The trouble is, ice creams are usually pretty fattening, and while fruit juice ice lollies are nice, they just aren't the same . So, whilst browsing through the supermarket freezer aisles, I came across Mini Milks - now, these were a childhood ... ...the freezer when I was younger (and in fact still get them in for my daughter). They were only 1.99 for 12, which was pretty good value - but the true joy was when I looked on the back and discovered that these are only 30 calories each with only 0.7g of fat! There are three flavours in the pack - vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate, and I couldn't wait to get stuck in , so I got home, and a few minutes later sat down to enjoy my first - a vanilla ...

Advantages: Tasty,no artifical colours / additives ,creamy, low calories ,high in calcium Disadvantages: None for me
...Mini Milk Time lollies from Wall's . Notice how it sounds as if I had no choice ? Sometimes shopping feels like that though doesn't it .
Mini Milk Time Lollies.
These lollies are packed in a standard type of box . There is a small cartoon of a couple of cow's heads which I guess is there to represent the fact that these lollies are packed with milk . In fact it says they are 70% milk , which is a source of calcium .
I guess these lollies are produced ... ...great for big kids ,like me , also . There are three different flavours in the box , and so four of each one . Mathematical genius eh . There is Strawberry , Chocolate and Vanilla . They all taste pretty good but surprisingly for me the chocolate one is my least favourite . In common with lots of chocolate flavoured ice creams the chocolate ones have a 'cocoa powder' sort of taste .
Each lolly is a long solid tube shape . They are about one inch ...

Advantages: price, taste, simplicity Disadvantages: i can never find the vanilla ones :(, melt, size
Mmmm…mini milks, how they remind me of my younger days hehehe! I actually didn’t realise they still made them the other day. The sun was boiling my body so I nipped down the road to old Murco to buy a magnum (felt I deserved a treat after all the sunbathing/revision) but to my surprise as I bent down in the freezer to grab my usual a familiar wrapper caught the corner of my eye, there it was a vanilla mini milk mmmmmm….
The wrapper is blatantly ... ...pretty cute. The actually lollies seem to have shrunk in size?? But perhaps that’s just because I’ve grown they seem smaller?? Another change which they seem to have undergone is the lack of jokes on the sticks :( i always liked guessing what the joke would be from only eating half the lolly...ah well you can't have everything :)
I always opted for the original vanilla flavour, but they also come in chocolate and strawberry flavour. I think the ...

Delicious!

I would recommend Mini Milks to anyone - not just kiddies. They're actually a good source of calcium and the thick creamy content coates your throat just right. Which can be handy in the cold winter months.
