Neil Why haven't we got any bread? Because we haven't got any brehhhhhd.! So, mountain biking, motorbikes, go karting and now a review about a unassuming loaf of bread? Ah, but Exup does not live on adrenalin alone. (Ok I'm referring to myself in 3rd person now, so better stop). But even I enjoy the odd bread based snack, and so to the main loaf I usually pick up, The Warburton's medium white Eating For a standard supermarket loaf, its pretty good. Slightly sweeter than a farmhouse with an even texture, not too dry or too bland. No weird little grains to get in your teeth, and the crust; ... more

This is totally my favourite bread in the whole world. I am even allowed it while on my diet, and I have a nice sandwich made with this soft white bread every lunchtime. The price of this bread has shot up over the last few years. I can remember this costing approx 94p about 3 years ago, and it can cost up to £1.59 depending on what shop you go to. i think my local Asda and Tesco charge about £1,34 for a 800g loaf. You can buy this in 400g loafs, but the slices are tiny, and it isn't just half the pack size of the larger pack. It is just like the slices are miniature versions of the larger one ... more

    Advantages Advantages nice soft bread

Disadvantages Disadvantages a bit more expensive than some brands

These is normally 2 types of Bread we always buy. It is either Mothers Pride the Plain stuff which the wife hates, or this Warburton's which the wife says is her favourite Bread. Since I like this one as well, and since we often don't need the 2 Loafs of Bread in the house for waste purposes then this normally is the winner in the Supermarket. Priced at about £1.30 thesedays for a 800g Loaf. Where has all the prices came from over the last while? I used to think £1 was expensive for a Loaf of bread. The pack stands out well enough on the Bread shelf as it is blue and white in colour. Have ... more

In our family it is me and my father who love our bread... we especially love Warburtons medium cut!!!! Taste; I love the taste of bread but this one tastes very doughy... I find that certain breads from cheap nasty supermarkets taste very vinegary- I hate vinegar!!!!! However saying that this bread tastes lovely!!!! Smell; Everyone who walks into a good traditional baker will no what I mean… because that’s what it smells like... Ahhhhhh Packaging; A package is a package however it looks pleasant and offers a little information about the bread and the company Product Quality; Fantastic.. It is ... more

    Advantages Advantages Perfect loaf everytime

Disadvantages Disadvantages Will be eaten too quickly

I could eat bread till the cows come home. But this is by far the best bread I have brought. The loaves always seem fresh at time of purchase and 4-5 days after ourchase. I normally only by 1 loaf a week for me and my Husband and it is still fresh for our lunch box on Friday. It's soft which a nice crust...Warburtons's the best family to make your bread. Every loaf I have is spot on never had a burnt or disappointing loaf off them yet. I think the cost is reasonable also as Tesco often have it on offer for £1.00 even full price it's only £ 1.35. In the past I have made the error in buying own ... more
