I liked the first Waylander novel... I liked the second more. The third and final installment of David Gemmell's Waylander series is by far the best yet! The story picks up a few years after the Waylander II and Waylander has become a rich land-owner who just wishes to be left to his own devices. With that out of the way, this novel is on par with the brilliance of the first Waylander novel and contains scenes that rival the excellent opening of that first book.
