Advantages Advantages tasty, on offer, healthy

Disadvantages Disadvantages a little pricey usually

It occurred to me that I was eating very little meat, so decided I needed to go in search for an animal of some sort I fancied tucking into. The purple packaging of the Weight Watchers frozen ready-meals attracted me over, my eyes locking on a Tomato and Basil Chicken option. Described as 'succulent marinated mini chicken fillets in a chunky tomato, courgette, red pepper and basil sauce, served with deep fried potato wedges', it certainly sounded appealing and worth a try. When you remove the meal and take off the film lid as instructed, it doesn't take long to cook if you pop it into the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Tasty, easy, cheap

Disadvantages Disadvantages None really from me

As I’m doing the Weight Watchers healthy eating plan I have decided to give some of the ready made meals that they do a go. I’m not normally a fan of ready meals, due to the bad reputation they seem to have with to much salt, sugar, fat etc. On the hold looking at the nutrition information on some of the Weight Watcher packets they don’t seem too bad. Weight Watchers Tomato and Basil Chicken: Weight Watchers ready meals are manly made by the company Heinz which are very famous for there beans some may say. This meal is marinated chicken in a tomato, courgette, red pepper and basil sauce with ... more

Advantages Advantages Wonderful taste, easy to cook, very low fat and calorie

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not a huge portion

Like some other members have begun a quest for the best condoms, writing opinions on the whole of the Avon product range, testing every car available or trying to find the best ISP, I have decided to go on a quest for the best ready made diet meal. Am I sad or what? I hate cooking, I hate waiting for my meals, and I am always on a diet, so low calorie/low fat ready meals fit my every need, well maybe apart from filling me up. I would like to point out that I normally only eat these during the week. At the weekend I con my partner into cooking for me – its great! Included in the quest ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to coo, quick and tasty

Disadvantages Disadvantages not enough for someone who eats a lot

In a hurray and want a quick easy Italian style dinner? This meal is excellent, one I recommend. Cooking for one is no fun for me and when I cannot be bothered I have a microwave dinner. This is not a regular occurrence but I always keep a couple in the freezer just incase. Weight watchers are one of my favourite quick dinners. They always seem to have just a good taste as normal ones. Weight watchers may cost you a little extra but as it is not every day I eat these we don't mind. So, the boring part, the packaging.... Wrapped in a cardboard outer cover the packaging is very 'standard' of ... more
