My own personal experience with Welcome Finance was horrible. I used them because I was new to the UK and just had no credit, not bad credit. I took out a loan with them for £2000 in June of 2007. After being made to take the payment protection and told I could just take it off if I didn't want it later. The interest on the loan was something astronomical like 54%. Advantages: Not One!!! Disadvantages: Huge repayment total, Appalling customer services, at least 10 footprints left on your file!!
Note: These Guys are Brokers - Not Lenders - I had applied for finance through a Broker on the internet for 10k, 2 days later these guys phone me up and said they couldnt get me 10k, but said that they could get me 3k @ 199.96stg per mth for 36mths!!!!!

Welcome Fiancial Services....well what can I say about them. I have had dealings with them for a number of years. I'm probably on my 4th loan with them now. They will finance people with less then a perfect credit score, as well as the perfect score, but their APR can be very high. On the upside, the more you deal with less the more the APR reduces.
