    Welcome Financial Services . On my own Families personnel experience, I just cant bring myself to give Welcome Finance a good rating. 8 years ago now, we took out a personnel loan with them, and also financed the purchase of a second hand car through them as well. My Husband was working full time and well paid, but because we had both gone through previous marriages which had left us both with financial difficulties, as far as a credit rating was concerned Welcome Finance was one of the few options available to us.     i made an online enquiry regarding an unsecured personal loan to welcome finance. an enquiry about their apr on atypical loan. not an actual application. they started to take my details and then i stopped them mid conversation to ask if the were conducting a credit check, and that i was concerned about a record of credit checks on my file. i also mentioned to them their advert i was replying to stated "no credit checks would be made". the said the dont do that and the "enquiry " continued despite double checking again that no credit checks would be made. they then said they would pass me on to ... more

    Advantages Advantages quick response to apply for a loan

    Disadvantages Disadvantages they do not stick to their terms and conditions

    I contacted welcome loans with a view to obtaining a loan. Their terms and conditions are that if no loan is taken after three months the fee will be refunded. I paid £79.99. three months on I was not offered a loan for the amount I had wanted so closed the application. I emailed welcome loans and they said that a refund would be given. Three months on no refund had appeared on my statement so I contacted them again and they said they did not know why I had not been refunded my fee and will enquire.     My own personal experience with Welcome Finance was horrible. I used them because I was new to the UK and just had no credit, not bad credit. I took out a loan with them for £2000 in June of 2007. After being made to take the payment protection and told I could just take it off if I didn't want it later. The interest on the loan was something astronomical like 54%. I ended up out of employment, and then my 15yr old died which left me unable to even think.     i regretted taken out a 2nd welcome finace loan over one year ago.first,i took out a loan and was paying the money monthly.after about one year,i applied for another loan and they paid off the first one,and gave me a second loan.that was the day i destroyed myself and opened my life to sharks who nearly killed me.At this point,i had not known that i had no more insurance incase i was ill or out of work.i believe the insurance was still there as i was offered that initially.unfortunately for me,i lost my job last august an d then stated my nightmare with welcome finance.I got harassment calls ... more

    These past few months have been difficult for me. I chose to use Welcome Finance as someone had recommended them to me at this extremely difficult time. This credit crunch made it difficult for me to get a loan or anything of the sort under my current circumstances. When speaking to Welcome Finance i thought i had chosen the best around for the rates they were giving. When i recieved my quote i was more than happy with the outcome. £1000 loan, repayments at £96 a month for a 12 months. To say the least i was very happy with this quote and accepted them primarily.     i find Welcome Financial Services is one of the best companies you can find it takes no time to process you application and they explain everything very clearly to u so u know how much you will be paying and what u r paying for. the only "bad" thing about it is the interest rates, they are too high other than that its the best company to try if u tryin get a loan or car or whatever you looking for

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Huge repayment total, Appalling customer services, at least 10 footprints left on your file!!

    Note: These Guys are Brokers - Not Lenders - I had applied for finance through a Broker on the internet for 10k, 2 days later these guys phone me up and said they couldnt get me 10k, but said that they could get me 3k @ 199.96stg per mth for 36mths!!!!! Avoid like 'Ebola' (Deadly Disease) Customer service is appalling with staff very upfront and ignorant!! These peoplemake their money off the backs off ordinary people who have problems getting credit. Very shameful organisation with a huge amount of Bad feedback allover the net....their a bit cute aswell, theres guys out there writing good ... more

    I feel for the couple that got into financial trouble over her husbands broken back. I myself have had runnings with this very unpopular loan firm, i took out a car loan 3 years ago but was told i would only be accepted if i took out payment protection, so i did at an extra cost of £45 a month on top of the £201 a month fot the car,i could comfortably make these payments over 4 yrs, 2 yrs ago i took out a personal loan with them of £2500, again bullied into payment protection, or no loan, £200 a month over 3 yrs, so think of this welcome have been getting nearly £450 a month off me, not a ... more

    I would advise not getting a loan with this company as you will probably end up paying interest on interest if you are late with any payments. Life is unpredictable, and although you do not intend to be a day late with a payment sometimes it happens. It cost me £416 with this company on a £1000 loan, as they were charging me without my knowledge! I would not have minded paying an initial late payment charge, but to be so underhand as to conceal this from me is beyond belief for a company that is supposed to be a reputable firm??
