Advantages: Does exactly what it say's on the tin! Disadvantages: Loss of pressure causes loss of mousse
...be using that any more.
-= Wella giv it a try =-
Now I know everyone's tried mousse as some point as had I before Shock Waves but I'm talking when I used to play with my mum's mousse when I was little. I remember mouse just being a product that you put on your hair to get it wet enough to style it and maybe if your were lucky enough there would be a bit of hold there for you until you got to the car. How things have changed!
So, I got this ...

Advantages: smells lovely and holds well Disadvantages: sprays out upright, pressure fails and mousse doesn't come out
...she came bouncing back with Wella Shock Waves in her greasy little mit.
I didn't have the heart to tell her that I hated their products and that the gel I recently tried off of a friend was crap!
Still I had to try it anyway....
So, I was wrong - first time for everything.
I was pretty amazed at the results as I have very thick and heavy long hair.
I only used a small amount of the mousse and I can say that it lasted the whole evening ...

If you want a good mousse that won’t let you down, then Shockwaves is the one. With it’s Ultra strong hold Shockwaves is an excellent product. I have used for quite a long time and I have always been happy with the results.
The mousse comes in a lovely bottle, bright and well designed. The mousse is extremely easy to apply. Give the bottle a good shake and then turn it upside down, and press near the nozzle so the mousse comes out ...

Advantages: Holds well, ALL DAY LONG! Disadvantages: Its only suitable for some hair types!
I have looked for the perfect gel for me, for god knows how long, and i have FINALLY found it! This Ultra strong mousse is perfect for my hair, as i have quite straight, and thinnish hair. It holds my hair a treat though. And smells REALLY nice too! Gathers in the ladies anyway. ;-)
Here is how to get the "MAXIMUM" effect:
- Apply to DAMP hair (not wet, or dry)
- Shake can well
- Holding can UPRIGHT dispense a small ball of mousse into your ...

Style with confidence Review ofWella Shock Waves Ultra Strong Max Volume Mousseby
opinionuk
Advantages: reasonably priced Disadvantages: made hair lank and sticky
I found that shockwaves mousse to be rather sticky, I have fine sligthly wavy shoulder length hair, need to include those details so you know what hair type this applies to.
I found when using this product when applying the mousse in an attempt to blowdry my hair straight it seems to pronounce the waves rather than straigthen the hair. It also felt as if a sticky residue was left behind on the surface of the hair, definately not one I'd recommend ...

Bit of a flop Review ofWella Shock Waves Ultra Strong Max Volume Mousseby
Scazzer
Advantages: Smells nice, not too heavy on the hair Disadvantages: not very good staying power
As all the advertisements indicate that Shockwaves producuts are the best there are fro strength and body, when they were on a special offer, I thought I'd give them a try.
The mousse os nice and light in texture and when you apply it to your hair it doesn't hardly leave any residue on your hands. It rubs in easily and smells nice too.
I did think that as it says 'Ultra Strong' that my hair would hold it's style all day without having to pile ...
