I am A big computer user and I do a lot of downloading of movies and music, my computer hard drive is 300 gb and I only had 20 gb left, it was enough to run my computer and keep it up to peak(ish) performance but that meant that I couldn't download anymore stuff. I've owned this hard drive for around a year and it has been flawless. Its a tiny drive (western digital's smallest portable drive ever according to their website!) it doesn't come with a case but i bought a caselogic one on amazon for about £6 which fits perfectly. Drives are unpredictable and do die easily compared to other electronics - thats why you find so many mixed reviews for each drive.
