WD offer a fantastic warranty on this product, which is usually not needed, as ther build quality is extrodinary. These disks have a good, stable platter and this helps protect from bump damage.
Speed wise, the spindle speed is average for a laptop drive, as is 150mps, but its the tiny cache that gets on my nerves with these drives.
I would check out Samsung's Spinpoint range, and pick up a 250Gb 7200Rpm 16mb cache SATA II disk ...
