I bought this Box as the TV kept saying the big switch to the digital signal was coming soon. It's a great little set top box, and picks up alot of freeview channels. ...Argos and exchange for this Wharfedale box. It is slightly bigger than the Sagem box and also the display at the front is quite big. You can see it from a few feet away. When it is on standby, it showed a digital clock. I don't find that useful because I have a wall clock, VCR clock, TV clock and DVD recorder clock as well. No need for one more. Disadvantages: Fiddly remote, dated looking

I bought this Freeview box mostly on the fact that it had two SCART sockets (thus you can video from it as well as watching it through the TV), and the fact that Argos were selling it cheap. I found it really easy to set up and use, with "Plug and Play" meaning exactly what it says. I didn't have to do anything other than tell it whether I had a widescreen or normal TV. I bought this set top box to put in the bed room as we have a very poor signal in there, we also bought a signal booster. This set top box was very easy to install and took minutes from start to finish. We installed this to egin with without the booster, and received all channels we have with our other box that is connected to the our door ariel, and the signal strength and picture quality were excellent. my box keeps going to channel 302 so when i record i dont get what i want even if i tune it to change the channel it happens mostly in the mornings any one had this promblem
