This is the first book which I have read by Nicci French. Crime story with a difference. When you begin to read the book the first chapter straight away introduces you to the main character Ellie Falkner who was preparing for her husband Greig to return back from work she had been tidying up when there was a knock on the front door she then opened the door to find to discover two female police officers what went through Ellie's head at that moment had she been caught speeding or litter dropping but when she focused on the police women she then realised they were here on more serious matters ... more
