Stunning location

Hilly area if you have walking disabilities

I love being beside the sea it's my idea of heaven. Just sitting watching the waves crash up against the rocks and flow gently back and forth over the sands is so peaceful and relaxing. If I ever won the lottery I would buy myself a house overlooking the sea so I could see it hear it and smell it...

Location: Crackington Haven is located near Bude Cornwall, it's pretty easy to get to! I'm a beach lover, who loves the sea, sun bathing and walking along the Cliffside and for me Crackington haven's got it all. I love walking out and walking right to the top of the second cliff, it's amazing up...

Didn't it nearly sink Costner's "Waterworld"? Or perhaps it should have been a Perfect Storm! Or the need for the Shipping News...

Interesting question as to whether an inundated "waterworld"-style would have more or fewer good sea views. My guess is fewer - a lot of my favourite shorescapes would disappear - which is one reason I didn't discuss the possibility, the other being lack of space. Storms, perfect or otherwise, certainly improve some sea views, or at least make them more dramatic. And the best sea views of all may be found beneath the sea...
