Advantages: Large capacity, good drying action
Disadvantages: Not energy efficient and very basic

We bought this tumble drier after our old one caught fire and it is reguarly used for a house of four adults who do two large washes a week comprising of about two loads a piece. Two members of the house also go away for days at a time and bring large amounts of washing done. Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Filter needs to be cleaned every load, only has a rear vent.

I've found this tumble dryer to be very easy to use; it's a basic machine with a high/low temp button and a140 minute timer. It does have a warning light for the filter but to get the best drying results the filter does have to be cleaned before each load, if you wait until the light comes on the drying performance gets poor. Advantages: Brilliant Dryer + LESS IRONING
Disadvantages: None

...larger load capacity of the whirlpool takes a full wash load and dries it really quickly, even a full load of towells. The reverse tumble action definately makes a difference to how creased the clothes come out. If you remove the clothes promptly a large proportion of them you can just fold and put away with NO IRONING NEEDED. A major plus unless you enjoy ironing!
