Quick review of Whirlpool Renlig C10

"Bought this dishwasher as part of a new kitchen from Ikea. This is not a rant against Ikea because the cabinets and other appliances I bought from there were excellent quality and reasonably straight-forward to install. However, I feel this dishwasher is the exception and is a very poor design. As part of the installation (according to the instructions), you need to take apart the sides of the appliance to adjust the springs in the door. This basically involves dismantling it - during this process I felt it would be very easy to seriously damage it. Once installed, the washer does not do an effective job of either washing or drying the dishes. Difficult to install, offers low performance - I do not recommend this product.

Don't bother- or get an extended warranty if you already own it

Advantageslooks nice

Disadvantagesas above

"...as it is made by whirlpool we expected much better performance. Luckily we took out an extended warranty (five year cover) at the same time. It broke down once within the first year and then two more times afterwards- over the last five years it has needed a new control panel, new motor as well as other parts. After it broke down on the fourth time the engineer said it would cost too much to repair- so we are now waiting for a replacement dishwasher. ..." Read review
