Advantages: Warming, flavoursome Disadvantages: Not necessarily a flavour you'd like!
...(unlike some of the other Whittard teas) it does not actually make the tea taste too sweet. This is probably because the sweetness is offset by an undercurrent of citrus fruit. Unfortunately the tea also has a sort of ‘tanginess’ to it. The same sort of ‘edge’ that you detect when you drink heavily mineralised water. This does not ruin the drink completely but certainly distracts from its palatable qualities. The granules can also be dissolved in ... ...wants to drink cold mulled wine? Advantages: nice flavours, very easy to make, no caffeine Disadvantages: quite sugary
...It all started with the Whittard shop opening nearby. Every day they have a different flavour of tea available to taste – well, that’s the theory; in reality it’s the ‘nicest’ flavour almost every day: a case of tempting you with the best, no doubt! As I’m sure you’re wondering by now, it’s the English Fruits flavour, one of nine flavours in the range. All are available in Whittard shops, or via the ... ...my supplies there – all Whittard shops offer three 500g canisters for £10, as opposed to £4 for a single tub.
So, what do you get for your money, then? Well, the cardboard canisters are quite sturdy (and nice to look at, in my opinion), with plastic lids and the instant tea ‘powder’ is foil-sealed inside.
The tea itself is closer to the consistency of sugar – not all that surprising, as this is the first-listed (and therefore ...

Advantages: Wide range of flavours Disadvantages: High sugar content
Whittards produce a tea that even the usual non-tea drinker will try. They have a range that will suit almost anybody. The product is available in 500g containers and is priced at £4 each or usually there is an offer allowing you to buy three for £10.
It is an instant tea drink (similar to the Apple Tea that you find in Turkey) whose main components are: sugar, citric acid, black tea extract plus the various flavourings. You need about 3 teaspoons ... ...will find that the drink can be served hot or cold depending on your personal preferences. I tend to drink it hot in winter and cold in summer. There is no need to worry about disposing of teabags or tea leaves afterwards as the tea dissolves in water.
Whittards also produce a low calorie version that is available in sachets. They are sold at £4 per box and are of mixed flavours.
There is a wide range of flavours available. Some of my personal ...

(I would just like to say before I start, I do work for Whittard’s and I am going to make my opinions as non-biased as possible.)
Mmmm, Instant Tea. Great, what a way to wake you up – refreshing you – making you feel ready to go! Every Saturday I wake up at 7 in the morning and head off to work at 8. I get the train at 8:14 (when its on time) and then arrive at work. When I o, I go out the back and make up the Iced Tea (and tea ... ...is fun and smelling the tea and tasting it (to make sure it is the right strength) makes it more fun. They are all different and all have different flavours and qualities, some better than others. To follow are all the Instance Teas we have with a rating out of ten. The ten are:

...recent opinion on here about Whittard Instant Fruit Teas.
So while placing my bulk online order for Tesco this week I searched their site for these teas, luckily I found them, not so luckily they only had one variety available, but luckily (again) it was one of the ones I was tempted to try having read the aforementioned opinion. The variety available was “Dreamtime”, so I happily ordered a tub.
My shopping arrived on schedule and I unpacked discovering ... ...I had ordered. Very attractive packaging – a large (500g) sturdy cardboard tub adorned with a lovely painted-effect design of moons, clouds and stars in rich colours with a secure blue plastic lid for freshness. This tempting looking item had cost me £3.50 so it had better be good!
I finished unpacking the rest of my shopping (disciplined, aren’t I?!) before settling down for a drink. I would normally head for the coffee jar at this point but I ...

Advantages: Caffeine Free Disadvantages: Very Sweet
At the risk of becoming the caffeine free king around here, I have been expanding my hot beverage horizons recently away from the trusty, tried and tested London Fruit and Herb Company and here are my findings.
Whittards of Chelsea are a company specialising in teas, coffees and all of the paraphernalia associated with the brewing and consumption of each. They sell this range through specialised, self-titled outlets located countrywide. Amidst this ... ...therein is the basis of this review.
The Packaging
-------------
These teas are packaged in 500g thick cardboard pots with colour co-ordinated plastic lids. The pots are squat and cylindrical in shape and measure approximately three and a half by four inches. Taking off the plastic lid, there is a further sealed metallic lid with a pull off strip. This seals in the freshness and, also, makes the product tamperproof.
Overall, a big thumbs up in ...

Advantages: Easy to make, crisp flavour , very fruity Disadvantages: not easily available ( as some flavours are missing in stores )
I discovered this tea for the first time when I was in London. The warm and fruity aroma of rasberry and mango pulled me towards this shop. This tea is a blessing to people of all ages and occupations. It is very quick to make and tastes lovely when allowed to brew for a longer time specialy the rasberry and pineapple flavours. I bought the rasberry pineapple and mango as they had a three for two offer. With a price of 5 for each or 12 pounds for ... ...months and months
even if u have some everyday. The flavours are released instantly into hot water and there is no need to add sugar as it already is sweetened.
If you want to make a cold cuppa its easy too and can replace a lot of fizzy or binge drinking. To make it taste like the samples they have in store the key is to brew them for a long time as they taste even better. The taste is crisp and sugar content can be adjusted by using more or less ...

Review of Whittard Instant Fruit Teas
Advantages: Strong and well balanced combination of flavours Disadvantages: Contain added sugar that make them very sweet
Everything is flavour positive about this tea, except for one thing. It has added sugar that makes a second cup too much, it becomes a sickly drink. Maybe because it is instant there is a reason for adding sugar, but if you aren't used to sugar in your tea it will stop you drinking this regularly. A real shame because the flavours are well balanced.
Otherwise, the drinks combine several flavours to provide a pleasant and warming drink. There are ... ...(Orange Mango and Ginseng) to name a few that I have tried. At christmas they also release a mulled wine flavour - delicious!
As said, only down side is added sugar - the cups become sticky and after a second cup your teeth itch. If they left out the sugar I would give the product 4 stars, but have to drop a star for its inclusion.
The teas cost £4 for a 500g tub which lasts about 25 drinks, so they cost about 4 times the price of a quality leaf ...
