Fast Delivery and Nice Little Touches

Advantages: Very fast delivery, cheap pricing and free sweets
Disadvantages: I couldn't find any

I ordered a mens base layer yesterday at 10am and just received it 20 minutes ago, even when I only used the free delivery! I think that this is pretty amazing, especially as I looked around and they had the best prices than anywhere else I found. My item was exactly as they described it and the sizes seem to be accurate as it fits nicely. Also don't think that they only do bike gear as I first thought from some reviews, they seem to do quite a few ...

Fantastic Website

Advantages: Loads of products, good prices
Disadvantages: stock can be a bit iffy other than that - NONE

I have used this website countless times for all kinds of cycle equipment and have so far never had any major problems. They are currently celebrating 10 years of selling and it really is not a bad record - considering how many people were using the internet in 1999. Their range on stock is absolutely huge - there really isn't anything on here that you'll want that they won't have. They have some very competative prices and when their stock is up ...
...had issues with stock before - once having to wait a couple of months while they got some new grips into stock, wasn't pleased with that. But on the whole they usually have what you want. And to be honest it is usually a problem with their suppliers not them, themselves. Their website is really clear and full of information - don't be put off by how big and confusing it all looks. I have to say there is a lot on the home page - but give it some ...

Makes the opposition wiggle uncomfortably! (wiggle.co.uk)

Advantages: Huge product line, dirt cheap, great special offers
Disadvantages: None

Wiggle is a one stop shop for cycling enthusiasts. It is the website I turn to if I need a product or want to find a price comparison when I look in my local shop. Whether you are a hardcore road rider chugging out 300 miles a week, a mountain biker who loves tearing down hills or comeone who potters about town with their children this site will cater for you. ===Looks=== The site looks quite busy at first with the homepage bringing to your attention ...
...main focus. Across the top there are some broad categories which make searching for products a little easier. Down the left hand side there is a more detailed list of each product section where a more specific query can be solved. The site uses an orange, white and grey colour scheme which looks fresh and modern but does not distract from the content. ===The Deals=== Suffice to say this is now the only site I check if I am looking for a good price. ...

For anyone ordering from the US

Advantages: Got what I wanted in what I'd consider record time.
Disadvantages: Really, none that I can think of.

OK, I can't comment on everyone's opinion of Wiggle, but here's mine: We have 9 month old twins. I wanted two backpack-like child carriers to hike in - one for me and one for my wife. They didn't need to be the same product for each of us, but they needed to be comfortable enough for both children and adult alike. Reading on the internet, I found that pretty much everyone loved their Deuter Kid Comfort III. So, I looked around for prices. Hands down, ...
...that's probably helped significantly by the current $/£ rates, but the bottom line is, who cares why a price is lower if you get (well, legally anyway) the product you're looking for in a timely manner? I read a few reviews about Wiggle and decided (as I'd never heard of them in the USA) they were indeed a legitimate business. Most of the negative things I read about them involved "after-sale" issues. I'm not exactly sure what sort of issues people ...

Quick review of Wiggle.co.uk

Advantages: Easy ordering and rapid delivery. Disadvantages: No personal communication. I wanted to exchange the received helmet for a larger one. I was a bit nervous about this after having read the differing reviews. The "exchange process" also made me uneasy. Had a bit of a nervous time waiting & wondering whether I would receive a refund & new helmet. I had absolutely NO personal replies to 3 emails explaining that although the users manual was opened, the box damaged (french post), the helmet had not been worn & I was happy to have the inserts and damaged box back. In the end though, I received a new helmet (& inserts) pronto AND after they received my returned helmet, a full refund. All in all, things went well. ...

Wiggle needs to do better

Advantages: Huge selection
Disadvantages: Often out of stock

There was a time when I would have given Wiggle a rave review - but no longer. Wiggle started off selling cycling components, accessories and clothing but has since expanded into running and triathlon. The impression that I've gained over several years of buying from them is that they specialise in end of line product. It's amazing how many of their lines are out of stock or discontinued and it's not infrequent that you buy something and follow ...
...no longer available. I guess they buy a lot of their stuff cheaply towards the end of the season or something. They'll need to do a lot better to get back my support. However, the website works extremely well, they despatch orders quickly (if in stock) and my limited experience with their customer services has always been positive. ...

Quick review of Wiggle.co.uk

I will never use Wiggle again. Two weeks have now gone by since I ordered my new lights and bottom bracket for £67 from Wiggle. Although the website says they dealt witht eh oredr the 1st working day after my order, nothing has arrived and they do not respond to emails - not even an acknowledgement of my query about slow delivery or how they ship the goods. Totally useless. ...

appalling after sales

Advantages: cheap, well layed out website
Disadvantages: delivery, after sales service, no phone number

Wiggle are generally quite cheap so they are very tempting to use. I have used them probably 8 or 9 times over the past few years. But i have given up using them now. This is the 3rd time a delivery has gone wrong. There after sales care (if you can call it that) is a joke. No telephone number to ring, email only and if they do reply it's not what you want to hear. I ordered a product that was shown as in stock and paid for priority despatch ...
...i am emailled to say it is not in stock and needs to be ordered. It also states that it cannot be cancelled . So now they have my money which i can not cancel and no product. A couple of days later they e mail me to tell me they have now received stock and the item has been posted. When it arrives it is the wrong product and the wrong size. Now i have to post this item back to them before they will issue a refund (hopefully) Buyer beware! ...

Service is fine if they get it right but beware if something goes wrong with your order. There is no way to contact Wiggle other than by email which they may or may not answer. I accidentally ordered a product that was out of stock (stock levels are very misleading) and could not get through. Think twice before ordering. ...

Be careful to remove the delivery charge!

Advantages: Clear website
Disadvantages: Useless aftersales care, delivery charge needs to be actively removed

Good selection of products, not necessarily the cheapest on the web though. The site is pretty easy to use. But when submitting the order, be VERY VERY careful to remove the postal charge. They claim to have free postage, which they do in fairness, but by default you pay £3.99 for priority delivery. If you're happy to wait, then delivery is free, but you have to find the bit on the form and remove it. Having ordered once before, priority mailing ...

Mixed feelings

Advantages: Huge range and stock, generally good prices, 'one-stop shop' for bike gear
Disadvantages: Post-sales customer service, not supporting local bike ship

First of all, I'd better 'come clean' and say that my motivation to register on this site and write this review is the appalling after-sales customer service I've received from wiggle. However, I have placed many orders totalling hundreds of pounds (bike gear for myself and other people), so I will address the advantages to wiggle first. I have only used them for bike things, though they keep expanding into other sport/fitness areas. *ADVANTAGES* ...
...me of shopping at wiggle is the shear range of what they sell. Unlike my LBS (local bike shops), they don't just sell one or two brands, but all major brands- in every product area. This means I don't have to either settle for a second best product for what I need or go hunting around the many other (often, though as already pointed out, not always) more expensive bike shops- both off and on-line. -- Stock -- Ok, so they don't always have every ...

Why pay for postage???

Advantages: Easy to use, good range of products.
Disadvantages: Postage, price, postage, price - oh, and postage

Wiggle is without doubt a well designed, easy to use website. I have ordered on there and will order again. Delivery is good but why pay for it??? Other well known mail order sites - no details here of course - are available (just like the adverts for the Radio Times eh?) and are worth hunting out. Wiggle provides a good service but at the premium of having to pay the delivery charge.... OK, so what about the site? It is actually very good. It ...

I am a Wiggler

Advantages: Good prices, great deals, fast delivery
Disadvantages: Not always the best price, be careful

I was put onto Wiggle by a friend and fellow biker. I had been out of Mountain biking for many months and was looking to get a few extras for my bike including a new comfy saddle, some tyres etc. Wiggle is an online bike part ordering company. (I think thats the best way to describe it). Despite being aided by my friend on what to buy I found Wiggle's small reviews attached to products really helpful and had plenty of referral to Mountain Bike review ...
...depth. Many of the products I wanted were involved in special deals which was great although do be careful. Despite the fact that some of their deals seem really good, do an internet search and check out other places first, its the old trap that if they are doing a great deal it must be worth it..but think...after all other places have deals too. I found their prices were competitive with most places in most instances and the deals made them even ...
