Advantages: Free controller and some ok games Disadvantages: Some games aren't so great and boring
...to purchase my first Nintendo Wii game since the launch of the console. As if it hasn't been hard enough to find the Wii console in stock, there's one game that has also alluded many customers due to the fact that it comes with a 'free' controller - and that game is none other than Wii Play.
If you're looking for a game that's going to keep you busy for hours, and be a real joy to play, then you are wasting your time on Wii Play really. The selling ...

Advantages: Includes Wii Remote, 9 quick games Disadvantages: Repetitive, Basic
...With that in mind, the Wii puts a lot of faith in the simple "party" games that take full advantage of the Wiimote and its unique features. Wii Sports already showed us how to get non-gamers frantically flailing their arms in front of a television and Wii Play follows in a similar vain, with a selection of 9 "instructional" games. It is a case of quantity versus quality, but as the deal is sweetened with the inclusion of a free Wii Remote, Wii Play ...

...new baby called the Nintendo Wii has taken the gaming world by storm; it is not its amazing graphics (they are not amazing, but they are adequate though) or some new super sound system.
It is the game play and its new way of using controllers to enhance the game playing experience.
Wii play I would say is a must have game. For a start it comes with a Wii remote controller (the wireless controller for the Wii) thus allowing two player games. ...

Advantages: cheap as chips, some good games, good for beginners Disadvantages: poor replay value
...have just brought a Nintendo wii you going to be looking pretty soon at getting some more games and especially getting an extra controller because let's face it wii sport just isn't the same without two people. That is the position that I found myself in and within a couple of days I was off down to the shops to try and get another control Wii remote. When I got to the shops after looking around I found that generally I could get a remote on its own ...

Advantages: Some fun minigames Disadvantages: none are worth more than an hour of your time
...up to the computer (like Wii Sports), you only control the movement. And you only control the moment on a single plain. Or as it is commonly called: Pong.
Controls: Rather than press the left and right buttons, you move the controller left and right. Much better than using a D Pad.
Pose Mii

Game Play: Make you Mii strike the same pose as a silhouette bouncing about in a bubble, and move the Mii over the bubble. Sort-of almost fun. ...

Advantages: Good clean fun Disadvantages: none yet
After being slightly disappointed with Wii Wario Ware I was not holding my breath on being bowled over by Wii Play the other game set in the Wii catalogue. My son purchased this for £34.99 so if it was bad at least it wasn't my dosh that was going down the drain or worse still back to the Game shop for a trade in whereby I'd be quids out of pocket and only have a voucher for Game, which I'd be very unlikely ever to spend. The package comes with another ...

Advantages: Great fun for two players Disadvantages: Not so good for single players
...enough to receive a Nintendo Wii for Christmas despite all of the shortages (and at the correct retail price). However a lot of the Wii games are much more fun and often designed with two or more players in mind. We all know that Wii Sports comes as a freebie and a very good one at that but the Tennis and Boxing are much more fun two player.
So I decided that another controller would be practically essential. I had read that the game Wii Play comes ...

Advantages: Cheap, fun, easy games Disadvantages: The fun factor wears off
As we only got one wii mote with our wii and wanted to play against each other we needed to get another remote to go with the console. I looked around the internet and discovered I could get wii play which contained 9 mini games with a wii mote for about £5.00 more than a wii mote on its own.
I checked out a few reviews for wii play and they mostly weren't exactly encouraging but I figured for a fiver it was worth a try.
When it arrived we unpacked ...

Advantages: Some fun minigames, 2 player, easy to pick up and play Disadvantages: Too simple for Wiimote veterans, some poor minigames
...you will think about getting Wii Play - it comes with a Wiimote. It costs £5 more than a standalone Wiimote. It has 9 minigames. 50 pence (ish) per minigame? That doesn't sound too bad to me at all!
Wii Play is not designed for the Wiimote veteran. It is, purely and simply, for the New Wii Owner, who's never used the Wiimote, and might even feel a little intimidated by it. The 9 games ease the user gently into different ways of using the Wiimote, ...

Advantages: multiplayer-quite cheap Disadvantages: not enough games-only good with family and friends
When the Nintendo Wii first came out i wasn't as excited as everyone else about it and i thought it was going to be failure mainly because it was using different technology but boy was i wrong.
I brought this for a measly £20.00 from my local game station and it proved to be a worthwhile purchase as i brought it a few months ago and i still enjoy it to this day.
This game has 8 different games in to it and all of them are very enjoyable, but i ...

Advantages: some addictive fun games, you get the wii remote Disadvantages: not a lot of replay value and can get boring
...few months after getting my Wii when I decided I wanted something similar to Wii sports (included with the Wii console), since I loved being able to use my own Miis - the little characters you create on the console - as playable characters. Wii play offers this with nine new mini games, plus a Wii remote included. Reviews I'd seen of this game before buying it didn't look good but since it came with the remote I thought it was worth buying anyway.

Wii Play is a series of unlockable minigames that are designed to help you use the wiimote. One of the attractions of the game to buyers is that it comes with a free wiimote.

...Nintendo released thier revoutionary new Wii console for just £180 it seemed like all my christams's had come at once. Here was an amazing new console with unique motion sensing controllers that could be purchased twice over for less than its main rivals the ps3 and xbox. The only slight concern I had was the rather high price of a second controller for £30 so when I saw the Wii play title for just a fiver more that came with a "free" controller it ...

Wii play for most people comes for 35 pounds with a Wii remote which is a fantastic deal, for some reason and I think a huge mathematical error by the company I got Wii play, Wii sports, red steal, Zelda and 2 remotes (plus nunchucks) and the actual Wii for just over 250pounds! What a bargain!
The game continues along the line of game, or rather starts it, that the Wii has become built for, party games with high levels of playability and enjoyment ...
