Everything About Wilkinsons is BRILLIANT!

AdvantagesExpeptional Product Quality, Cheap Prices, Helpful Staff, Hardly Any Queues, I could go on!

DisadvantagesNone!

"==Wilkinson (Wilko)== Wilkinsons (or Wilko I will call it throughout this review), is an ever growing company that most people know of. Their stores stock most of the items you'll find in big retail stores including Boots, B&Q & WHSmith, but at cheaper prices on most items. Everytime I go into town I always go into Wilko as it's one of those bits & bobs shops that I always like to mooch around in. It's like you find something in Wilko that you ..." Read review

Wilkinsons, the best that man can do?

AdvantagesCheap and cheerful

DisadvantagesQueues

"In the great Californian gold rush it was the guys selling the shovels that got rich, better to be certain of a sale than leave it to good fortune, which is why the budget stores like Wilkinson's are doing so well in recession. Until recently middle-class people wouldn't be seen dead in discount stores but now they have no choice but and are secretly enjoying the value, if you were to ask me. In fact the likes of Lidl and Netto plan huge store roll-outs ..." Read review

"...town centre we have a Wilkinsons store which I love!I don't ever not go into Wilko's as there is always something or another that I will need. Just yesterday I went in for some shampoo and easter eggs!Wilko's sell a massive range of stuff, from food to garden furniture, it really is a one stop shop. Apart from everyday items I generally use Wilko's for paint and wallpaper, I often ..." Read review

Wilkinsons almost have it all!

AdvantagesPretty much everything!

DisadvantagesNo I do not want a mobile top up or stamps ta!

"One of my favourite bits and bobs shops is Wilkinson's. I love shops that stock bits of all sorts and wherever I go and there is one I will go in and take a mooch about. I did work for them at one time and I hated it and quit after a couple of weeks years ago infact but I may have hated working there but I've never stopped shopping there lol! Goods: Like I have just stated Wilkinson's stock allsorts of items. Most stores I have been in have ..." Read review

Wilko, one of the best.

"...Armada Centre. I first found Wilkinsons when I was in Swansea visiting my brother when he was away there at University (though why he chose there I shall never know but hey ho), but it was a good number of years before it arrived in Plymouth. And so what do they actually sell (or not sell)? Whatever it is that you are looking for (of course within reason), then you will find it no doubt here – that is why I compared it in the first instance ..." Read review

Wilkos my local wonderland.

AdvantagesCheap with lots of variety.

DisadvantagesNot very easy to find your way around

"Just 2 minutes walk from where I live is a brilliant shop which sells all sorts of things and at a price which I do not mind paying. I go there very frequently. I love it. The prices they charge are good and the quality of their own products never fails me. What is this shop? Wilkinsons, a general hardware shop. What does this shop sell? There is so much there. I regularly buy Baby milk 70p cheaper than Sainsburys. Plastic bags packs of ..." Read review

Wilkinsons - Everthing under one roof with continuing discounts

AdvantagesLow prices, child friendly , Vareity of products, available online , friendly staff

DisadvantagesNo toilets in my local store

"Wilkinsons is probably one of my favourite household and hardware shops to visit and shop as the deals and discounts are normally better than other High street stores in my area . ------------Why I like the store --------- My local store is in Greater Manchester and there is 12 available but my closest is just down the road . When I walk in the shelves are well organised and you can see clearly what is available with plenty of room to walk around ..." Read review

Not for the time poor.

AdvantagesSome good bargins

Disadvantageslots of tat

"Wilkinsons are a mixed blessing, in short. They are a high street shop, selling all kinds of everything, some of it good, some of it rubbish. Their stock is somewhat unpredictable, so while they will appeal to the hardened bargin hunter, anyone who needs something specific, fast, may not do so well. A brief overview of things I've seen them stock: babycare products, toiletries, kitchenware, sweets, clothes, bed linnen, stationary, garden furniture, ..." Read review

Wilkinson Everytime

AdvantagesLow Low Prices

DisadvantagesNone

"When I first went into a wilkinson store about 2 years ago I thought it was going to be full of cheap junk, however to my surprise as I walked through the door I was greeted by a friendly member of staff and a toiletries section with very good prices, I carried on round the store, I was actually after some windscreen washer for the car but I couldn't find it so I went to the help desk and asked where abouts it was kept and the girl on there got another ..." Cheap and (mostly) cheerful

AdvantagesAlmost everything you need under one roof | Good Value For Money | Good Customer Service

DisadvantagesThe Queues

"...and a few, such as Wilkinsons that I don't mind going in now and again. I've only ever used one Wilkinsons store in my life, so I'm afraid that I'll only be able to tell you with my experiences in that particular one, which is situated in Basildon Town centre. The store, itself, is large, spacious and reasonably well laid out. The majority of the aisles are large enough so that manoeuvring a buggy or wheelchair is a breeze. The only exception is ..." Will you find what you want, you bet you Wilkinson

AdvantagesEverything under one roof - and so much cheaper

DisadvantagesI'll get back to you on that one

"The Wilkinson’s store in Ipswich has probably been open just over two years now, and every Ipswichian in the town either knows of it or shops there. When it was first announced that this discount shop was going to open you could hear a loud groan…yet ANOTHER cheap shop that sells a whole load of tat. Ipswich is a fairly big town and suddenly it seems that every other shop you walk past is a discount store of one sort or another, but ..." Read review

A Review from an Employee: Insider

AdvantagesLots of Selection

DisadvantagesLots of Tack

"...keep the customer happy at Wilkinsons stores. This, however, is through no fault of the customer. Wilkinsons is a very disorganised store, it seems that it is not only the customers who cannot find products they have come into buy but as an employee i find it difficlt to find certain "smaller" products for them. Products are constantly moved around by staff and customers alike and promotions are constantly shifted for a "lager sale". It seems however ..." Read review

"...checking out the price in Wilkinsons first. I bought a pack of 20 cup hooks. They cost me 50p. These hooks were on sale for 8p each in our market! A roll of waterproof tape cost 99p (£1.99 elsewhere). If you want to save money look here before buying. ..." Read review

What would i do without Wilko's?

AdvantagesToo many to mention! Read on...

DisadvantagesSo popular sometimes there are queues :S

"...follows why... ~*~ My history with Wilkinsons ~*~ I always remember going to Wilkinsons (fondly known as Wilkis or Wilko(s)) from the age of around 10 with my stepmother, where she'd do her household goods kinda shopping. I knew back then that it was a special shop as we didn't have a store in our town, and so we took the effort to go specially into the next town (Bury) to go. Hehe, so anyway, me and my sisters used to get the Pick n Mix from ..." Read review
