Exercise - the Winnie way

Advantages: Keeps baby supported with the inflatable ring
Disadvantages: Toys are too hig fr tiny babies

...to fit in with the Winnie the POoh theme I have in my daughter's nursery. I eagerly awaited it's arrival and unpacked it as soon as it arrived, bew up the ring and imagined my little one sitting in there when it arrived. However when she did arrive and I laid her in it for the firsttime I was a tad disappointed. Alex was a tiny baby and although this gym is classed as suitable from birth she is yet to get any fun from it as the toys are positioned ...
...- this results in her becoming frustrated and bored. I have since been given another gtm which is much more 'at her level' and she enjoys it more because she can actually reach the toys and feel the effects. Since being given the second gym I haven't put the hundred acre one up as I find it awkward to put up and it then takes up a fair it of space unless you tae it apart again - far too fiddly for me. Being a Disney product it costs slightly more ...

Great, if baby can reach!

Advantages: Keeps child occupied and safe
Disadvantages: Small baby cannot reach toys

I first bought this product at Christmas time when my baby was 3 months old. I bought it for £40 from Argos. This play gym is brightly coloured as you would expect and I have put it in the wash a few times (I am not sure if this is actually recommended by the manufacturer). At first I was slightly disappointed because when my daughter ...
...any of the toys which hung above her. Even though the height of the toys were adjustable, they still hung too high for her to grab. Since she was 5 months old, I have been using the blow-up ring. I have found this invaluable as I know she is safe and cannot get out. (Tip - to blow the ring up - use a footpump!!!). Even though she can sit unsupported she does tend to fidget and end up with her legs in the air! There aren't a great deal of 'bits' ...

galt inflatable nest or ring

Advantages: very good at keeping baby entertained in one safe place
Disadvantages: has a tendency to deflate slightly the first time it is blown up

hi when you first blow it up using your own breath over many hours you may find that it tends to go down slightly this is due to the warm breath and condensation that builds up inside so when the air inside cools down it deflates slightly you may need to put a few more breaths in from time to time or you can use a foot pump from a air bed ect this should solve the problem or if you think it may have a hole you can test it in the bath like you would ...
