Waddington's no. 1 Playing Cards I’m sure anyone and everyone who enjoys a game of cards has at some point owned a deck of these playing cards. As my family and I enjoy playing cards quite regular, it was obvious I was going to have a deck of these cards. They have to be amongst the most popular and most sold playing cards. As like any deck of playing cards, this deck consists of the usual 52 cards, 4 suits, 13 cards in each of the suits, and 2 jokers. The cards come with either red or blue backs, me being a card freak had to have a set of each colour, I don’t know why because they are exactly ... more

Advantages Advantages Strong cardboard box, strong cards, look nice, glossy, easy to shuffle.

If you like games as we do in our family a pack of cards around the house is essential. There are so many games you can play with a pack of cards that you will find a game for everyone. Recently we went on holiday with our in laws and after I had put the kiddos to bed we were at a bit of a loss as to what to do until we found a pack of cards in the bag of games and toys we bought. We ended up playing card games all week, gambling for money and having a great time, staying up to 1 or 2 in the morning every night because we were so addicted. We also play a game of double solitaire in our house ... more

I have a few packs of these lovely playing cards from Waddington’s in my house – No 1. I like these because they are handy for playing all sorts of games with and also because they are very well made too, I find. They are a nice size and they sit well in the hand and are just the right size. I play with my granddaughter and also by myself. They are only £1 for the pack and I bought all of mine from the cheap shop near to where I live. I think it’s always a good idea to have more than one pack of playing cards in the house because you never know when you might need them if you are wanting to ... more
