Lord of the Dance?
Review of Wintersmith - Terry Pratchett by hiker

Advantages: Silly, humourous, the Nac Mac Feegle return
Disadvantages: it's one of the 'younger' books so no real satire

...previous adventures is made within Wintersmith - you don't need to be too familiar with them to enjoy this, the third of the Tiffany tales, but should you prefer your literature in chronological order, press PAUSE now and go read The Wee Free Men, and A Hat Full of Sky. When you return & press "RESUME" - you may have another slight difficulty because Wintersmith starts a little ahead of itself. For no real reason, Pratchett starts with a chapter ... Read review

Now the Wintersmith thinks he's in love with her and is determined to show it. Not only must Tiffany learn to be a witch, help with the lambing and help the newest witch in the Ramtops, she has to find the real spirit of summer and bring her back. Say it with snowflakes
Review of Wintersmith - Terry Pratchett by Coloneljohn

Advantages: The latest book set on the Discworld.
Disadvantages: Some people still do not like these books

...For entertainment) In this story, the Wintersmith has taken a fancy for Tiffany. That was because she made a very brief mistake, once. But our Tiffany is a little young to be thinking of a wedding. She does Have the help of other witches and the help or otherwise of the Feegles. The Wintersmith is learning and can make snowflakes with Tiffany's image. He can give her roses and say it with an avalanche or an iceberg. Once again Terry Pratchett ... Read review

Welcome to Winter
Review of Wintersmith - Terry Pratchett by atytyut2434

Advantages: Granny Weatherwax!
Disadvantages: None

...his own terms. The Wintersmith is the personification of the one who brings and creates winter. He embodies winter, everything about winter is him. The book reads in an unsual way. It's not the standard linear format we're used to from Terry. It starts with one possible ending, walks away from it to a much earlier time and Tiffany is taken to watch a ceremony where she foolhardily joins in and ends up replacing Summer and being pursued by her lover ... How do you fight Winter? Ask the Nac Mac Feegles!
Review of Wintersmith - Terry Pratchett by Katterina

Advantages: A great follow-on to learn more of Tiffany Aching's story.
Disadvantages: None that I could see.

...the Summer Lady, where the Wintersmith then takes a shine to her - with possible disasterous consequences! As you may imagine, this leads to more complications than one girl could cope with on her own so, with a cast of many, including Mistress Weatherwax, a leader of witches, if witches acknowledged leaders at all; Nanny Ogg, her life-long friend, and a witch who would definitely think that dancing at midnight without yer drawers on could at least ... The return of the Nac Mac Feegles!
Review of Wintersmith - Terry Pratchett by mmmc0drw

Advantages: Discworld Novel, Funny, Entertaining
Disadvantages: Not great people new to the Discworld

...is being romanced by the Wintersmith (an elemental anthropomorphic personification of winter). Together with the help from the Wee Free Men, and of course Granny Weatherwax, she must stop the Discworld from being gripped by a permanent winter! This book does not disappoint- it is Terry Pratchett at his best... every page making me laugh. However, I would recommend that before reading this book you first read The Wee Free Men (and if possible ... Read review
