    Advantages Advantages Tonnes of new features, new continent, level cap raised

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Requires WoW to play, more expense on top of monthly fee

    Before this expansion was released, World Of Warcraft was already a hugely engrossing game. It's charming cartooney graphics may appear dated now when compared to some of the more recent releases such as Lord Of The Rings Online: Shadow Of Angmar, but nevertheless it still retains the most important aspect of any video game in existence: it's damn good fun. With so much to see and do it's almost impossible to get bored with the game, and now with the release of The Burning Crusade expansion there's a whole lot more fun to be had... The brand new FMV that comes with the expansion pretty much ... more

    Advantages Advantages Extended gameplay, new items, races and areas.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Requires you to purchase the original WoW, graphics not updated, addictive.

    The Burning Crusade adds a whole new level of gameplay to possibly the best, and certainly the most popular, MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game), World of Warcraft. Pro's and Con's... My first thoughts when creating one of the new characters were that the quest storylines would not be as well thought out or designed as previously, in an attempt to produce the expansion pack quickly enough to cope with demand - I am impressed to say that the new content and quests, and all new areas are incredibly well designed and rich. Another good feature of the expansion pack is the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Many more quests, enemies and items. Long-term PvPing now has an incentive.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lifespan of the expansion is only long for 'hardcore' gamers, poor itemization.

    The Burning Crusade is an expansion pack to the most popular massively multiplayer role-playing game that is, World of Warcraft. Let's look at the major features that the expansion adds to the original game. - Players can now achieve level 70 from the previous capped level of 60. - Two new playable races to choose from, the Blood Elves and the Draenei - New battle arenas with a PvP ladder system. - New battleground map, 'Eye of the Storm.' - New major cities, which include: the Exodar, Shattrath and Silvermoon - A new, very large continent, known as the Outlands is added to the game. - Many ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages losing more of your life in order to play

    Following on from my World of Warcraft review comes forth the first major expansion - World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade! An epic adventure awaits bundled with lots of new content. Within the Burning Crusade add-on you are able to unlock a number of additional extras in order to progress within the Warcraft world. Being able to play as two new races, the Blood Elves and the Draenei, which included various racial, class additions, most notably the Blood Elf Paladin and the Draenei Shaman. Both of which helped balance out the Horde and Alliance factions when compared to the original version ... more

    Advantages Advantages Tons of new content, new dungeons to raid, hundreds of new quests npc's and items

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Addictive, requires free time

    I have been an avid player of World of Warcraft (WoW for short) for nearly 2yrs now. As you can imagine for a player playing this long, things started to get a little boring. This was until The Burning Crusade expansion (TBC for short) came out - needless to say the plethora of new content was more than enough to get me totally hooked again, and enjoying the game fully once more. The Burning Crusade was easy to install and set up, and once I had finished installing the files from the disk I was able to use my current World of Warcraft account and simply enter the key provided with my copy of ... more

    Advantages Advantages New challenges, new classes, new races, new experiences.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Addictive.

    TBC is the much awaited expansion pack updating World of Warcraft, an MMORPG. The game is set in the world of Azeroth, where the two factions, Alliance and Horde quest and kill to earn experience and progress through the level structure. Pre TBC there were on offer 4 Races per faction, Alliance having the choice of Human, Night Elf, Gnome and Dwarf, Horde having Troll, Undead, Tauren and Orc. From these races nine classes were then available, class selection limited to race selection and in the extreme case, Paladins limited to Alliance and Shaman limited to Horde. TBC changed all of this, it ... more

    Advantages Advantages Much more stuff to do, More great effects and more of everything!!!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes up to an Hour to upgrade

    Well to be honest, when i first got WoW and i started playing properly, i got the expansion pack the very next day from buying the retail version! The Burning Crusade is the first expansion pack in the Series of World Of Warcraft (Wrath of the Lich King coming later in the year. I bet it will on September 30th). This expansion pack makes WoW EVEN BETTER! -Story- It has been 2 years since Durotar was founded and since then, the War between Allience and Horde was held for a while. However, still against each other, worldwide events seem to be happening bringing the infractions closer to all-out ... more

    Advantages Advantages The Burning Crusade that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages For every ding in WoW, you lose a little more real life ;)

    ~~~ The Brief ~~~ Selling on average at around £17.99, The Burning Crusade (TBC) is the first and currently only expansion pack to the game that now has an 8 million player userbase, World of Warcraft. ~~~What's New~~~ The main points that you probably already know about TBC: Level cap increases from 60 to 70. -And on the way to 70 there will be new items and enchants from professions. Access to the new WoW Continent of Outland. -Only if you are over level 58. Two new playable races, the Blood Elfs and the Draenei. A new proffession known as Jewelcrafting. -This profession is similar to ... more
    Developers: Blizzard Entertainment Producers: Vivendi Universal Genre: Fantasy MMORPG Ratings: ESRB: (T) Teen PEGI: 12+ OFLC: E (Exempt) USK: 12 - Overview - With over 8 million subscribers to the orginal World of Warcraft, you would of thought Blizzard could pull an expansion pack off, and this they did very well. The Burning Crusade seems fitting for this expansion pack, it is a crusade of new features, which bring the game alive again. From the addition of two new races (Dranei and Blood Elves) to the new areas added to the game (Outlands) this expansion looks set to be an amazing expansion ... more
    Advantages Advantages Step into a whole new world and take your character beyond Azeroth.
    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some people hate the idea of needing another 10 levals!
    After my journey into the far away land i like to call "town" to get my new copy of the Burning Crusade, i installed it, patch'd up and instead of levaling my Dwarf Hunter i decided i would go to one of the brand new servers, Ghostlands. I chose one of the new playable races, The Blood elf. And as they are always im demand i rolled as a Priest. The New race for the burning crusade, the blood elves have alot of charm, the males do a little Napoleon Dynamite dance, where the females seem to mimic Socialite Paris Hilton (or Haris Pilton as she is called in one of the Taverns in Shatrah city.) As ... more
