At the age of just eleven, Temujin, the second son of the khan of the Wolves is sent to his mother's tribe to progress into adulthood. This was a very interesting read indeed. The author really portrays the image of what it would be like being in the scenes. It gives one a whole different view of the man Ghengis Khan was, and leads you up to his rein of power. Very well written with great descriptions that put you in the scene. By the end of this book, you'll want to get into the next one and I often found it hard to put the book down when I got started.
