    Advantages Advantages Miracle gum

Disadvantages Disadvantages Crap actors, corny storyline, pants pants pants

If you want to see a tacky advertisement - look no further. It must be a dental miracle, chewing gum that whitens your teeth and makes you smile in the most annoying fashion... All of the actors in the advertisement seem to have excessive smiling syndrome, its just so corny it made me laugh... The latest advert, includes two identical twins who are having dinner at a restaurant with their partners. The twins go to the ladies room, and switch dresses to see if their partners recognition the change... And surprise surprise, the bright white teeth of one of the identical twins gives the game away ... more

Advantages Advantages It's short enough to keep your eyes shut through

Disadvantages Disadvantages Lots and lots of them.

When will advertising execs realise that watching a woman chewing gum will NOT make you buy their prduct? The same woman, in fact the same clip has been in at least two advertsing campaigns, and neither of them wanted me to buy chewing gum, in fact most of the time, it made me just want to smash my TV. While other companies have got the hang of advertising, lots of humor, etc. this advert is about as funny as a head operation. Advertisements like this are what makes commercial television barely watchable. Hopefully, someone from Wrigley's will see this, and either sack the woman, or hit her in ... more

well here is yet another poor advert which looks as though chewing it will dramatically change your life: it will probably make you a millionaire, the most popular guy around, help you to attract all the women, get you a great job and satisfy every thing that you ever wanted satisfying: not bad for a 25p packet of chewing gum, ay?!? oh well, i think this is a very poor advert as it features a load of smiling idiots who seem to appear to have all of the above as a result of the gum! ... more

Advantages Advantages Immediately identifiable allowing channel changing

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bereft of any wit or other appeal

'Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo …when you smile' ??? They've certainly got doo-doo eating grins. This is one of the most irritating adverts around. A collection of grinning morons, and the worst is the woman at the end. This is an advert for chewing gum. Chewing gum will not change your life. Incredibly, something must be working because they have the money to plough into intensive TV advertising for this, which is on such heavy rotation that is seared into your brain against your will. The product itself is ok but I sincerely doubt that on its own it will do your teeth a lot of good. ... more
